Anneewakee Academy is a great center! Low teacher turnover rates, excellent food, and very clean! Ms Kelly is great about replacing broken toys, keeping art supplies stocked and having an abundance of learning supplies. A cleaning crew comes in the evening and cleans the center and it shows! I would recommend this center to everyone!

I just read these bogus reviews, from what is obviously the same person in December of 2011 and I had to write a real review. We have had our first child in this daycare from the time He was 1 year old (he is now 7). We have never had a problem with any of his teachers or any other member of the staff. As a matter of fact, it is quite the opposite. We have always felt he was Loved and cared for by each and every person in the school. When we took Him to Holly Springs, his Kindergarten teacher told us "She loves getting kids that went to Annewakkee Academy because they are always so well prepared". We now have our second child there and He too loves the place (most of the same teachers are still there). It is always clean, our children feel safe and cared for, and the administration is Always friendly and helpful. Mrs. Kelly always makes us feel welcome and really cares about our children. I highly recommend this center.

My children attended for a few years because I wanted to cut corners and save money. After a year, I began to meet parents who left because of altercations with the owner, Kelly. I ignored it because it had not happened to me. Finally, I had a disagreement and she pretty much went off on me. I had never been spoken to in that manner. As I investigate more, I learned that the police have been called to the center before for a child being physically hurt, my own child shared stories of physical violence in the three year old room. When I talked to the owner she just let me know that I could not prove it!! I was just asking. Several ex-employees are so thankful to be free. I wish I hadn't gone for the money saver and investigated more. I don't want my child anywhere that has a violent history or a director who condones it. I am glad that my child is in grade school and that I found Primrose for my younger ones. :(

My son was enrolled in Anneewakee Academy at the age of 11 months. Since then, we have seen him grow by leaps and bounds. They serve the children well balanced meals and send home a daily report listing his naps, what he ate and how much, number and type of diaper changes, and a list of the day's activities. The best part of all - It is not much more expensive than other centers. We are truly please with the center!

The facility is great. The staff is wonderful. The owner is attentive and responsive. My child has been attending since she was 22 months and she's grown leaps and bounds. She's now nearly 2 1/2 and almost reading! We feel totally comfortable when we drop her off daily. Peace of mind cannot be measured with dollars and this facility gives us peace of mind.

I am a mother of 1 and this is the only experience I've had with daycare, but it has been an outstanding one. The staff is great as well as the curriculum. My son started at 4 months and even from that age they help & monitor your child milestones. He's now in with older babies that walk & understand and simple commands and he's only 13 months. They have really helped him to progress into a very intelligent and happy child. I tell my friends that it's like he's in kindergarden they way the are so structured. I love the service that my family receives here!!

My 4 year old transferred to Anneewakee Academy 2 months from another daycare in which he had begun to get out of hand due to the lack of discipline in the daycare (we are very strict at home). When he first started he loved the atmosphere. One day he came home saying that his teachers were mean because they did not let him do what he wanted when he wanted, at that point I knew he was in a perfect place. I am a very involved parent and like to know what is going on with my child or when he misbehaving, the teacher has called me if he has ever gotten out of hand or made sure she tell us as soon as we pick him up if it was a good day or a bad day. Since his move my child has returned to his well mannered self and I feel confident that the teachers will call me at any time that my acts out. All the staff is friendly and gets to know my child whether they are his teacher or not. The food that is provided is nutritional yet is much better than franchised daycares (fresh fruits and veggies vs. canned). My son has a structure and I am able to communicate confidently with the director with no worries of information not being relayed to the teachers. It was a price increase from what we were use to but the value that you are receiving is well worth it. My son also has now been in their summer camp program and they go somewhere every single day! I have never seen him happier. I highly recommend this daycare, Pre-K program, and summercamp to anyone.

We had our son at another daycare in town and he constantly had bad diaper rash, bite marks on his arms from other kids, and just overall bad experience. Then we found Anneewakee! Great. My son has done a 360 in personality and we love it. I can honestly say I don't have one negative about the place - in a different league compared to the "others"

We wish we'd gone here first instead of another daycare with our son. It starts with the security that requires everyone enter their own PIN number to buzz in, continues with caring workers who teach a set out curriculum. The meals are well-balanced and include stuff like peas and beans. Lastly, we get daily reports on the meals, how much our son ate of each item, the day's activities and a personal note about those our child enjoyed most. We love it. More importantly, our 20 month old son loves it.
