We needed a fence installed for our back yard. Shane Oliver came out and measured, listened to my requests and made recommendations. I appreciate his expertise! He provided a detailed quote and sketch to provide to the HOA. After scheduling, a crew of two came out and worked very hard a put up our fence in one day. They were professional and friendly. The fence is sturdy, secure and we are very happy with it. Thanks for making it happen Apex!

We had a great experience with APEX and I would highly recommend them. Bill our estimator was very knowledgeable, extremely attentive to details, and great to work with. For example, our farm gates have drop latches that make them easy to open/close so our goats don't get out. He included matching those in the new gates as well. I had a few rounds of changes and he didn't complain but followed up with the requested changes quickly (even on the weekends). Heather from the scheduling team was great and really went above and beyond to provide great service for us. And our install team was fantastic! Robert and Clint took special care to ensure we were happy with our new fence. They left our posts taller for us to staple bird netting into them for our chickens. During the course of the installation if I wanted something changed and asked, "Would it be too hard to change this?" They answered, "There's nothing hard about pleasing the customer!" And then they gladly adjusted per my request. They worked non stop the entire time they were here with very little breaks. I actually thought they should have taken more breaks as it was a very hot day for the time of year, but they didn't complain. They were also very kind to my children. All in I would highly recommend APEX.
Installed 3 ranch rail fence across our garden area, orchard, and in between our chicken and goat areas.

Here's my experience, decide what you may ..... First, they didn't show up on the scheduled day and said they "forgot" to finish the scheduling. We had to call MANY times just to get our deposit in, as they weren't calling us back. They finally install and bring the wrong materials. They get the right materials and then disappear during installation with a 2 foot open gap. We have to call around and finally get a hold of someone who says they'll be back the next afternoon to finish the fence. Come the end of day, they haven't arrived to finish the install and we have to inquire again ... they finally show up. The install finishes and we look around and see concrete all over, spotty spray painting on the aluminum, fencing pieces all over and they even piled up dirt they dug up over the AC unit. After much discussion they finally come back and fixed some of the issues ... but three months later it's still not complete. All they want to do is have me verbally give them credit card info instead of swiping a card ... I am NOT comfortable giving them this info over the phone! Especially with all the issues I've dealt with!!

I'll let you decide. When there's an issue on a project I am quick to take responsibility and to take steps to make things right in short order, this is what a smart, caring service business does, it exhausts every opportunity to make their customer happy. Unfortunately this customer set her cross hairs on us from the very beginning and there was no satisfying her no matter what we did or were willing to do. We removed perfectly good posts and concrete foundations from her aluminum fence because she did not like the paint match and replaced them with new identical ones, we sent over crew after crew to try and make her happy but to no avail. I offered personally to come over and meet her and let her vent to me, we gave her discounts, we gave her time and attention and we made good faith efforts every step of the way. This customer is a bully, she was a bully to every single person she spoke with in our office. At the end of the day we feel we did everything in our power to make her happy. Please see our last email exchange "after her husband came to our office and finally paid their bill"
Hi Brian, I didn't hear from you yesterday, which confirmed the work is all about the money and not about pride in a job well done. Best of luck - hopefully the owner hears about this and works to make the company better. Pride in a job well done should be the most important. When that's the case, the money follows. Thanks, XXXXXX XXXX
Hi XXXXXX,I was instructed by XXX (Husband) to leave it alone, we discussed the concrete around the posts which I explained is normal. It helps keep the grass off of your posts which allows the lawn service to not have to weed eat against your posts with string trimmers which will over time remove the finish. I am the owner over here and yes, I always want to make my company better and learn from any shortcomings we may have. Money is not our focus here, happy customers are. I do believe in my heart that money follows a job well done, it's the way I was brought up and I was taught that exact phrase by my father.
When XXX came in and paid I still offered to come over, meet you and listen after the fact. Based on my conversation with him he did not think it was a good idea. Would you like me to come over? I will, I will listen. You will see I'm not a bad person and you will see I care. I won't have an explanation for the lack of communication but I assure you I have had serious conversations with all involved concerning these items and dedicated one person to convey any and all changes to customers so no one can point the finger if something happens in the future. Let me know and we will arrange a time.Thank you, Brian
It's all good-I've already seen the focus. It was a test. All the best. Thanks, XXXXXX XXXX
You can see by my response that even after being paid I offered to come by, this was after numerous other attempts to meet in person. Some people are just unhappy inside, we can't fix that.
We recently moved into our new home and we're in need of a fence. A couple of friends recommended Apex and I am so glad they did! Not only were they professional and friendly they also did exactly what my husband and I asked of them. I couldn't be more thrilled with the fence! I also have to say we called a few other places and their prices were more than fair. Truly a delight to work with them. Skip the rest and just call Apex

Received estimates from three reputable fencing contractors and went with Apex. Shane was a straight shooter, and let me know what would work best in my application. The team came out and completed the fence ahead of schedule, and I couldn't be happier. Very friendly English-speaking crew. I will only use Apex fence for future projects.

Apex came out quickly and was helpful in advising what kind of fence would work well for our family. They communicated well about the timeline for installation. The fence installers checked in to make sure we agreed on what was to be done and how. They were efficient and got the fence installed in a day. Apex was great to work with.

Apex did a fantastic job on our privacy fence, and we would recommend them very highly. They had the best price of the three quotes we obtained and were able to get started on the job quicker than anticipated. The three guys on the job, led by Robert, also get high marks. The fence looks great, and they even made sure to protect our neighbor's huge rose bush that was right next to the fence. Thanks, Apex.

Our experience with Apex Fence Company and Bill Woodbury was fantastic! Bill was professional, VERY knowledgable, and made the process run smooth from start to finish. His team put up our beautiful ranch rail fence in less than 7 hours and we could not be happier. Best looking fence in the neighborhood! Thank you, Apex Fence Company!

We needed a fence for our new pool. We got three quotes, and Apex not only was the most competitive, but their technician was the most knowledgeable of the three. The job was done on time, finished product is great, and you aren't expected to make the final payment until you approve that the job was done correctly.

We had a large 4 rail fence installed in preparation for a pool installation. The job was scheduled and completed quickly- meeting all of my expectations. A few weeks later, we needed to change the gating configuration. The company responded quickly and made the adjustments. The crews that accomplished the work were professional, respectful and communicated throughout the process. Fast forward to the latest job they accomplished for us - We needed to have some of the fencing "re-installed" as a result of bringing in the heavy equipment for the pool install. Once again, excellent work, professional workers, polite and on time. I highly recommend this company for anyone looking for fencing.

Really liked the sales guy and how he quoted and laid out the fence design. They handled the utility marking and completed the fence a week earlier than projected even with the rain. The actual crew that came out was very nice but not efficient. They rain out of concrete, nails and had to go back and get the nail gun that they left on another job. So a day job took two days. They picked up some but weren't as detailed as I would have preferred. Price quote was competitive and they came back within a couple of days to fix a problem with the gate latch. So we're pleased with the result even if the crew who came out was not so impressive.

Apex provided our subdivision perimeter fencing needs with a superior product, and exceptional service at competitive pricing. We will continue to do business with them because of their professionalism, when it comes to planning, scheduling, and executing the installation.

Much like other recent reviews I've read, the quality is great, but the customer service is lacking. We had a relatively small job. The sales rep responded quickly and gave us a quote in the neighborhood of another quote we had. Given the high ratings on Kudzu, we went with Apex. During the course of the construction, we asked their installer if we could have a different kind of gate, and if we could run some pickets an additional 10 feet. He said sure, no problem. When the invoice came, there was a $200 change order added onto the total. At no point had an additional quote been given, no increase cost notice, etc. The sales person and the owner were astonishingly rude and snippy, beyond unprofessional (shockingly so). They couldn't understand why I would be surprised at a 20% increase to the quote, saying I should be smarter than the installer on fence costs and it's my fault that I asked their company rep on site instead of calling the sales guy. Yes, I can see a small charge added on, but not a 20% increase. I should at least been informed of the extra cost prior to the work or at a minimum immediately afterwards. I offered to meet them halfway, and after rudely arguing and belittling me, the owner relented. I'm still in shock at the condescending attitude. If you use them, you'll get great quality and a fair price, but they will expect you magically to know the cost increases without the on-site guy saying "yes but it could add to the cost."

I spoke with this client personally after his demand to speak to the owner concerning his decision to add fencing and a second gate which was 20% more work. Greg72 is an educated, intelligent man and he asked our "installer" Thomas, if he would be able add a gate and approximately 10 additional linear feet to his project. Thomas assessed the materials on his truck and informed our client that he would be able to do that. Greg72 did not call his estimator or our office to see what the additional charges would be. When Thomas returned from his day he told the office that our customer had added these services and the office appropriately created a change order for the additional footage and the gate. Greg72 was shocked that the addition of work at his request would cost more. In my opinion Greg72 hides behind a perceived veil of ignorance. I used the metaphorical example of standing in a McDonalds and ordering more food, I asked him if he would expect to pay for the additional items, his answer was yes but there's a menu board.(Yes, that could be perceived as snippy) FWIW, we never, ever charge more than is quoted unless our clients add services and footage. Bill nor myself were rude with you nor did we say you should be smarter or belittle you, neither of us could believe you were actually trying to justify that you didn't believe you were obligated to pay for additional services that you requested. All of this over a 100 dollar bill, what a monumental waste of time. We take full responsibility when we make mistakes and do everything in our power to make everything right. In this case though, you know better, and we know that you know better.
