I have had nothing but spectacular experiences at this salon. Amethyst is amazing! Every time I come in she makes me feel like a million bucks! What's even better is that Jim makes me look like a million bucks! I have also seen his wife, Sondra and although she is just starting out, she is really great. I recommend Appearances to everyone.

I had such a great experience at this salon! Everyone was super friendly and helpful. Even though I didn't have a particular idea in mind of how I wanted my hair done, they were super helpful by suggesting several options and my hair turned out beautiful! A+

What a beautiful place and what nice people! I just left Appearances and am so happy with my color and style. Everyone there was so helpful and nice! They have a great selection of magazines there. They offered me a great selection of drinks to choose from, but nothing to snack on. I was hungry! Not their fault, but the only advice I could possibly give them is to maybe offer nice snacks as well. Everything else looks so great and the customer service is terrific - just get some food in there and I would give you an A++ instead of just an A+.

Jim and Sondra are terrific people and they have an amazing salon! I am truly impressed with this salon and everyone in it! I was referred to this salon by my chiropractor and was told that this salon was the best in town. I was not disappointed! I came in and saw Lauren and my husband has been in with Thea, as well as Jim. The people here seem very happy to be here and that makes a world of difference! Being new in town, I have found Broomfield to be such a great place to live with so many friendly and caring people living in it.

I was an employee for this company and not only did I not receive my wages but the owner told me it was because she did not appreciate the fact I did not give 2 week notice. But I had a few issues with this companies ethics when I worked there. When products are exchanged from one customer the owner will go through check how used it is and if she determines that it was hardly used she puts it back on the shelf for re-sale. The company also charges for samples that are free from the manufacturing company. When hair services are given she makes sure her husband, who is a sylists, gets new walk in business first. Even though he will be booked out 1 1/2 months. So the customers not only have to wait when there is openings with other stylist, but to ensure her husband gets work she books him. I give three stars only because I do like some of the stylist. But the time to get anything done here is terrible. I worked at other salons and never had see bookings take that long. I referred my friend and her daughter who is 9 and was told they are to high end to do kids cuts. Even though we were dead that day they still would not see her as a client

After having a terrible experience at what was supposed to be a nice salon down the street, I came to this salon after reading many great reviews. I have to say that the reviews were right on! Appearances saved my hair! Thank you, Jim! Now I know what a master stylist is!

I found this salon sort of accidentally and I am very glad I did! I have lived in Colorado for over 10 years now and have not found such a beauty oasis in Broomfield before now. The service is impeccable and the quality of the haircut and color I got was to 'dye' for! hee hee. Seriously, though. I loved it and will be back!

My stylist left and they gave me an intern. It took 4 hours (!!!) to do my cut and color, and the price was outrageous compared to my previous (much better) stylist. I do not go there anymore.
