My dogs get excited when we get near Applewood. The staff is very friendly and it is always clean. The grounds have grass and I think it is well worth the money for the dogs to run outside on the grass. Most of the time I do have them groomed and they have expert staff to do this also. I can't say enough about the service I get at Applewood I would never dream of going anywhere else BECAUSE my dogs love it and that is what matters most to me!!!!

I have been to lots of kennels and this one just didn't have the staff a boarding place should have. I left very uncomfortable when a kid took my dog back forcefully and extremely uncaring. I don't think I'll be bringing my dog back. He ended up with giardia in the end.

You almost don't want to call it a "kennel" -- it's really more like a luxury resort! My pets board here at least once a month, and are also groomed here. Even the cat! They come home happy & tired out, just as they should. I love the fact that they can play outside, and my Lab can swim in their pool. The staff is very kind and really seems to love their guests. One less thing to worry about when I travel!

I have driven past Applewood many times but thought it was probably too expensive for me. I finally stopped by and was very pleasantly surprised! It has a beautiful, park-like play yard, and the service is first class. The staff is pleasant and efficient. My dog and my cat both LOVE to stay here. My recommendation: give it a try!

This is a 5-star getaway for your pampered pooch. From romps in the outdoor pool to the nightly "turn down service" complete with doggie treat, Applewood Pet Resort knows how to treat your baby. Pets can share a room, have their own television, etc. Cats are welcome too. At that end of my dog's first visit, I expected to find her sad, tired and thinner (she usually won't eat when I'm not around). Instead, she was happy, bouncy and well-fed AND bathed and brushed to boot. I use Applewood any time I leave town without my baby!
