Ok, I went to Aqua Terra with family for an early mother's day dinner, and I cant say I was too impressed. The place looked nice, played well into the role of upper class dining, but the service and the food I found lacking. The portions were what you'd expect from a nice place (small but highly decorative), and the food was ok, but for something around $40 a plate it was disappointing. The service was the kicker... it was slow, like only one chef for a whole banquet slow. After being seated, it took 25 minutes to get the drinks, and then after ordering an appetizer, another 30 minutes to see it arrive. We ordered our dinners upon receiving the appetizer and waited another 30 minutes to see it. All throughout this time, we were refilled warm water without an offer of ice, the two martinis ordered were finished without ever being asked if another was wanted, and during this various glasses and silverware were being brought out, then taken away as if no one was sure what the table was supposed to hold. Don't get me wrong, it was a nice view of the golf course, nice ambient lighting and music... but for the price (with the service and food in mind), the value was very low. Personally, I would've had a better time at a friendly, lower class diner.
