Had them service my home filter system for past 3 years. Each year problems after they left (leaks, etc.) and had to call them back to fix. In past they sent out 2 technicians, this year only 1 came. He took an hour longer than prev. years, including having to clean up water that he spilled all over my basement. When he handed me the bill it was approx $150 more than I ever paid in the past for same service. I called the company and spoke to a woman (company pres) who was completely rude. Would not even listen to what I had to say, talking over me the whole time. She admitted it took longer than past 2 years for same service but insisted they had only sent 1 tech in past. A COMPLETE LIE - I was present for previous visits. Bottom line is shoddy work, sneaky business practices, hidden charges and absolutely rude customer service. Check out other reviews on web - very bad and true. They actually charge $110 per hour just to drive their vans to your home! Why have I used them for 3 years even with the past issues? Simply because they were cheaper than others - but it ended up costing me in the end. NEVER again.

BEWARE OF POOR BUSINESS AND INCOMPLETE WORK!!! In April of 2011 I had Greco & Haines come out to test my water because of blue stains. They told me that it was acidic and hard. The day they were supposed to install the system, they they never showed up. They said I must have wrote down the wrong date. Then when they did show up they brought the wrong equipment. So I had to be home a third day. They installed a system to balance out the water costing about 3,000.00 I called them in Oct 2011 because my blue stains were coming back and asked that they service the system and check the chemicals. They gave me an appointment with a 5 hour window. I asked for a smaller window but they said that was standard. The day of the appointment they never showed. When I called they said that I had the wrong day. So when they finally came they did a PH test and said the water was fine and the chemicals were all fine. I asked for a copper test and they said that a different person would call and come out. Its been a week and no phone call. I also noticed that my salt tank is empty and there was just water in the tank. I called a couple of other companies and asked if this was normal. They said absolutely not. So I called and talked to Both Joe Vicidomino and Sean Robinson the people running the Co. and have heard nothing back. DO NOT USE GRECO & HAINES. THEY CHARGE FOR WORK THEY DON'T DO.

You can read my reviews on other sites about this company. Many have emailed me with similar and/or worse experiences then me. Something happened to this company and I feel that things will need to change for them or they will be out of business soon. Don't be shy. Post your concerns so other potential customers are not treated unprofessionally and simply taken advantage of. If you have questions email me! I'm happy to share my story as well as what others shared with me. If you choose to work with them then at least you've been warned and good luck. I hope you have a positive experience.

Although our experience was not completely negative, I would never recommend Greco & Haines. Our water stopped working late Saturday afternoon, and G&H did get it working that day. Positives: Greco & Haines quoted us a per person hourly rate that was the same as the other places we called, and we figured having two technicians would make the work go more than twice as fast. They arrived within a few hours, told us we needed a new pump and new wiring and gave us an estimate ($2-3,000), and did the work. The men who did the work were pleasant, professional and cleaned up after themselves. Negatives: We were not given an itemized receipt when the work was done, and when we did receive a bill we were charged two hours more than the workmen were here (at $100 per hour). We were told later that this undisclosed charge was for "travel time." We were told to bleed the water from the tank at regular intervals, and not to run the dishwasher or washing machine until the water was clear and the air was out of the lines. Three days later the water was still not running clean, the pipes were knocking. As the days passed, we became increasingly disgusted by the fact that our water was still dirty and full of air, so we called a different well service. The new service explained where the air was coming from, and fixed the problem immediately.

We have had major issues and regular monthly service experience here. We blew a water pump and needed the well pump replaced. not cheap, but it was done quickly and done right. They also come regularly for the water softener -- they do everything --carry the salt downstairs for us, etc. Great service.
