I think this doctor isn't in the office much and his appointments are sparse. However his staff could show more compassion to patients that have skin cancer and needing an urgent appointment. The office returned my call when I was in the car and phone paired to bluetooth where even my passenger agreed that the appointment receptionist was uncaring, combative and made this "new process" even more awful. No one wants to hear "you might have cancer" but when you I would hope for better service/support from a doctor's office.

I've been with Dr. Arasi for several years, and every visit with him has left me unimpressed. He doesn't seem to care much about you or your problems, and the staff aren't exactly warm and inviting. I was always bothered by his glib and detached attitude. One time I went in to get what I thought was a suspicious looking mole checked out. Arasi looked at it for 2 seconds and said, "It's fine." It was like he was annoyed that I came in just to get a mole checked out. Then more recently, I went in for an issue totally unrelated to moles, and he decided to slice two moles off my back that I didn't even think looked suspicious. Oh yeah, and he didn't ask me if I was okay with that. He just did it. And now, 2 years later, I've still got 2 big welts of scar tissue from the incision. Thanks a lot! Don't bother with Arasi. There are better dermatologists in the area.

Because of my previous melanoma I see Dr Arasi every 6 months, and he is very thorough in his examinations, and he seems to be very competent at his profession. Would recommend him highly.
