I have been going to this office for about 3 years now. Dr. Tekin and his staff are by far the most professional, friendly, family oriented team I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Knowing that I am in their care puts my mind at ease. They go through great lengths to accommodate me and my needs. Often times your dentist visit is the least anticipated time, but I look forward to my visits because I know it will be the one part of my day where my interaction is friendly and about what I need. I have recommended co workers to this office and would recommend any one else in need of a high quality, professional dentistry.

I quit going to Art of the Smile. Every time I went in there, I had to shell out an additional $100-$200 than expected. I would go in for a cleaning, and they would always find something extra I needed done to my gums or teeth but would fail to inform me on how expensive it was (I soon learned my lesson after a couple times). I finally quit going to Art of the Smile after I had a horrible Hygienist who ran her mouth the whole time (very rude and thought very highly of herself & well educated children). It is a quick drive from my house, that is the only reason I went there for as long as I did.

I chose this office based on the good reviews and new dental insurance. Upon my first visit the office was very nice and the staff was accommodating. By the end of my consult I had been convinced I needed some cavity work and a full dental scale. My dental insurance limit was reached with just the dental scale and a large majority was paid out of pocket. The worst came with the cavity work. I had 3 cavity fillings. After the work and quite a bit of "shaving" my teeth down I was left with the most sensitive teeth I've ever experienced. I was told this was normal and would subside. Two weeks later and it still hurt to drink room temp water and take deep breaths of air. I returned and we did more "shaving". This happened twice more and the problem only worsened. My last call to the office I was informed that they are washing their hands off me and offered a referral to a root canal specialist. End result was over $800 out of pocket, teeth so sensitive the right side of my mouth is off limits to food and drink, AND the real possibility of root canal. I since have spoken with two dentists and a hygienist (relative). The dental scale was a complete sham to milk my insurance policy. My bite was off and a tooth was completely cracked where the filling had been inserted. Overall, these visits cost me much more than simply going with out of network. This establishment hides lack of skill with nice furnishings. I felt compelled to warn others since reviews led me here too. Be warned.

I went to this dentist and received a treatment plan which included several crowns.I checked my insurance out-of-pocket costs and compared that to his quote and he was charging $300 more--per tooth! To make matters worse, they cannot provide a crown closer to what my insurance cost should be. I am filing a complaint with my insurance. In the meantime, as I dispute, they have charged me a $50 cancellation fee and a $22 late fee. I had been disputing this with their office for weeks, but the office staff would say, "We'll get back to you" but never did. I would not recommend this dentist.

Sadly, the office decor is one of the few positives. Dr. Tekin's manner is gruff and uncaring. The person who handles accounts never seems to be in the office and lots of mistakes were made on every single one of our bills as hygienists always had to cover for the front desk--some mistakes in our favor, others not. We are happily researching other dentists.

**Recalling my Perfect Dentist review*** I stopped going to Dr. Tekin two years ago after being treated unprofessionally by him and his entire staff. Would not recommend.

It is a real pleasure to be a patient there. Dr. Tekin and his staff go out of their way to make me feel special and comfortable. I wouldn't trust anyone else !!!

The office is beautiful and very welcoming. Assistants are nice and friendly. However, the dentist is very pushy and tried to persuade me to do several unnecessary & expensive things to my teeth (whitening, replacement of a crown, and fill a tooth that may become a cavity in the next year). I will not be back!!

I diagnose exclusively on the need of each patient's oral health. My dental treatment philosophy is proactive, not reactive. I sincerely try to communicate the need for everything I diagnose - in terms my patient's can understand. Whitening is always elective - but if your dentist can't be honest about the color of your teeth, who can ?!! Lastly, there are certainly more affordable dentists than me - but there are also many more expensive ! - Dr. Tekin
This place is like going to the spa! I love going to the dentist - it might be pricier than some, but he accepts most insurance so not an issue.
