After they have your money they will not return your phone calls if there is a problem with the item upon delivery. So we drove 30 minutes to the store and the manager refused to come out of his office to discuss our concerns. He just told the sales person to tell us "all sales final". We were even willing to take store credit but he still said no and would not come out to talk to us.

My experience was neither wonderful nor horrible. In summary, if I bought from them again, I would order something in stock and pick it up myself (after giving it a complete "quality control" check). More likely, I will shop elsewhere. Problems: 1) Delivery was one week later than originally promised. We were told some unconvincing story about why they didn't have it in stock after all. I would have appreciated an honest "we made a mistake." 2) The chair's upholstery was left hemmed in one spot. The delivery guys assured me I could send it back if it was unacceptable in any way. That's what I did. The new chair was delivered about a month after the initial delivery date. 3) The day after the first delivery, I noticed the ottoman's cushion cover was badly sewed and looked lopsided. After I sent pictures of the problem, customer service agreed to send out a new ottoman cover by mail. After repeated calls to customer service, the ottoman cover finally arrived in late March. The tech did a great job putting it on. 4) I had waited about FOUR months to get my furniture finalized, and this caused me a lot of stress. Were I to use them again, I would arrange for my own delivery. Pluses: 1)Nice selection of mid-quality furniture 2)Fairly reasonable prices 3)They contract with a careful and respectful delivery company 4)I'm reasonably happy with my furniture

My wife and I purchased a Sofa and Love Seat. Ashley Furniture set up the delivery and actually delivered the furniture when they said they would. In the past few months, I have dealt with several different furniture stores, and Ashley was one of the few that actually delivered when promised. In fact, this positive experience played a big part in us going back to purchase more accessories. They kept their word.

I bought a TV stand which was delivered damaged. This was not noticed until the truck left and we were left with no copy of the delivery orders. I called and was told to send pictures, which I did. A technician came and "repaired" the furniture. I wrote on his invoice that it was not acceptable and called Ashley Furniture customer service again. Someone called and left a message and said that upon review of the pictures, it was up to manufacturers requirements-end of story! I returned the call and took pictures of the before an after again. Once again I was told that the supervisor had reviewed the pictures and this WAS manufacturers specs. There was supposed to be a 12 month guarantee but they do not even guarantee delivery of an undamaged piece. I was lied to, ripped off and I am stuck with a $550. poorly repaired piece of chip board. DO NOT BUY THEIR FURNITURE. I feel that it is my responsibility to warn others.

I had a good experience with Ashley Furniture. I have to drive a bit so I probably would not make it my first choice, but upon arrival all the associates were very helpful. The man I spoke with on the phone was not in the day I went but the sale associate who helped me gave him the credit. They were more than helpful. I didn't need much guidance becuase I just needed another piece to a set I already had. I was able to get in and out w/ freindly and fast service w/in 20 minutes. I was impressed by the fact I was not followed thru the store or hounded by several different associates.

I had order a leather living room set (sofa, love seat and chair). When the furniture was delivered, it looked as if it was used furniture, some of the pieces already broken. The only item that was in good condition was chair. The delivery person when lifted the chair the leather came apart. I refused to accept the delivery. When I went to store to cancel the order, the manager told that 30% of the amount will be deducted before refund. He refused to accept the mistake. Looks like they sale used furniture instead of new ones. I have not cancelled my order, but called my credit card company had put this as fraud activity, waiting for the results. I will never ever recommend this store to any one.
