I like classes in which I am engaged and feel that I am learning a lot, and this was by far the best language class I have ever taken. Gloria kept the pace of the class moving and never deviated from the lesson plan. I appreciated that the lessons involved active student participation. Gloria has a very friendly, positive attitude, and she spoke to us in Spanish as much as possible, which I also appreciated. As a testament to how much I enjoyed this class, I drove an hour each way to attend!

I've taken four Spanish classes with the Atlanta Academy of Languages, and it's been a great experience. All my instructors have been native Spanish speakers; they are patient yet persistent teachers; and they make learning enjoyable. I hate missing a class!

Hi... I just attended my first class at the Atlanta Academy of Languages, and I cannot speak highly enough of their program. I've joined the Spanish program at the intermediate level and plan to remain at the school until I've achieved fluency. My teacher, Claudia, made the class very engaging and informative. I wa...s also very pleased to meet the owner/director, Scott King, this morning and the warm, approachable Gloria, who introduced me to Claudia. If you live in the Metro Atlanta area -- and desire to improve your Spanish (or other) language skills -- I highly recommend AALL... I can't wait until next Saturday!

I have enjoyed learning Spanish at Atlanta Academy of Languages so much more than I did in high school and college. Gloria is a fabulous teacher and the class period flies by. I look forward to continuing my study of Spanish at the Academy.

7 years ago, I went to Guatemala for five weeks to learn Spanish. Since then I need to speak Spanish daily, and with the pace of work, it becomes a chore to not only do my job but do it all in Spanish. Since joining the class to brush up and review, I'm finding it easier to speak each day at work and without nearly as much strain. This is a great school with wonderful teachers.

I have attended Spanish classes at other locations and this is the only one that I have wanted to continue and move to the next level. Gloria is inspirational and she encourages you to speak the language without feeling intimidated. Thanks Gloria

Can't say enough positive about Gloria as our instructor. We are just finishing up our 2nd class with her. I have taken Rosetta Stone - which was very helpful but no comparison to a real instuctor who knows what she's talking about. Thanks for all your help - I look forward to more classes with you.

I have taken 2 Spanish courses here and I have been incredibly impressed. The instructors are knowledgeable, they teach in a fun and open format, and you learn not only the "academic" but also colloquial Spanish. And since the instructors I have met are from Colombia an Venezuela, you learn regional differences in the languages as well. I will gladly recommend anyone to the Atlanta Academy of Languages.

I began taking Spanish classes in Jan 2008. It is July 2008, and I am in the 3rd level for beginners. Gloria has been my teacher since I began, and she is wonderful. I really am learning a lot, and Gloria is energetic and makes learning fun. I give them a thumbs up!

I'm taking my 2nd Spanish class here. I have learned a lot (fairly expensive but well worth it), but some teachers (like anywhere)are definitely better than others.

Thanks so much for your comments! Our cost includes everything and is only $199 for the entire course...and because our class sizes are very small (4-8 people!), and we have done some shopping around, we feel the course fee is a real bargain for the quality you get...and the results. We'll be on the lookout to continue to recruit top teachers so they all are the very best in town...and maybe do a better job of getting more direct student feedback (hard to get honest feedback on teaching effectiveness at times if students don't feel free (like you did!) to share that information with us). Thanks so much again!!! -Scott King, Owner
I have just finished beginner level 2 spanish. Rebeca was my teacher for the first two levels and she is awesome. She makes the class fun and interesting. I am looking forward to level 3 with Gloria. The school is top notch and a great value. I recommend it to all my friends.

Just finished beginning spanish level 102 with Rebeca. She was energetic, enthusiastic, and thought of entertaining ways to stretch our abilities (like spanish scrabble). She also always took the time to answer our many questions. I learned conversation, grammar and style - perfecto!!

I needed to brush up on my Spanish and the Basic Level 3 was a great class to re-learn what I had forgotten. The teacher Rebeca is awesome. She makes the class fun and has a great amount of patience to help you learn the Spanish language effectively.

I started taking Spanish classes in the beginning of 2008. The course is taught extremely well, and the teachers are awesome. Gloria and Rebeca make it so much fun to learn a new language. I plan on continuing my training for months to come. If you're thinking about learning a new language this is the place.

I took the beginner's class. The teacher, Gloria, was great. She made the class fun but also made us work. The pace of the class was perfect, it was fast, never any down time, and kept us interested. The textbook was also good. It had plenty of exercises, stories, and explanations. I am definitely taking the next level.
