Not likely your insurance will cover your visit!

While Dr. Reddy is one of the best hematologists I've known, I can't say anything nice about the business office. Her practice is owned by Northside Hospital. You will not hear before you show up for your visit that they bill as a hospital visit subject to your deductible. This means you will likely pay for most of the bill rather than simply a $30 office visit copay. And, they won't allow you the option of running your labs through the lab your insurance recommends. You will be forced to pay the entire amount. Often lab costs will be 2-3 times higher than if they were sent to Quest or Labcorp. They will give you a package of papers to sign at your first visit. Read the fine print and ask questions as this details why you might spend $500 or much more when at other offices, you'd likely only pay you're $30 copay.
