I went to ACRM because they had the first available appointment and I thought any of the reproductive centers would be about the same. WRONG. it started out fine but by my 2nd appointment it was all down hill. I went to them for 3 months knowing from the first appointment it would be for IUI. The first month they put me on the meds and did TIC. Not sure why they did that instead of IUI. Then the next two months they scheduled my appointments wrong and missed my ovulation. Two months in a row!!! As you know, with fertility, timing is everything. Extremely frustrating. To top it off, they billed everything incorrectly so I was charged more than double what I should have been. I could go on and on but to sum it up, save yourself some money, stress and frustration and just don't go here. I switched to Emory and they're awesome!!

My wife and I worked with ACRM for almost 2 years, and in that time, we were taken care of the entire time and both of our nurses were outstanding. It took some time through IUI and IVF but as we understand it, that can happen. They were very patient with us, answered all of our questions and guided us through the entire process of IVF and donor eggs. Because of this, we are expecting twins and the services of ACRM made it happen!

Often reviews put on websites such as this one are from those who have had a negative experience. Fertility is tough emotionally and inevitably there are going to be those individuals who feel shorted or poorly treated. We paid out of pocket for two IUIs that failed, an IVF that failed and fortunately tried again with success. We knew it would be costly. This being said, Dr. Carpenter provided excellent clinical care. No questions with the timing, treatment, etc. My only concern is the billing department. We have had a very difficult time clarifying all the charges and I'm ultimately going to have to go down and meet with them-just to understand the audit form! I would not change to another group at this time-remember, they all have their faults, some in a clinical respect. As a local clinician that is over 40, I understand that these providers are good people that are excellent reproductive endocrinologists. That is ultimately what you want. They know what they are doing.
