Your piano is an investment in many ways. It is one of the few things you own that can only increase in value. It relieves stress for those who play for pleasure and provides harmonies good for the soul. It gives your children a sense of accomplishment and structure. Protect your investment by taking care of your piano.
Manny came to tune my piano that I inherited from my grandmother. He was very knowledgable, telling me things about the piano (including the age) that I didn't know. He took his time and tuned each key by ear. It was a cool process to watch. I have had other tuners that came by and tried to get it done quickly. But Manny was in no hurry and worked until it was done. And it sounds really beautiful now! I have been passing his info around to everyone I know with a piano. Highly highly recommend!

I have been around pianos my entire life and have had several experiences with different piano tuners and Manny is by far the very best. He took his time with my Baby Grand and was very thorough. When he was done, I heard him play a beautiful song. He told me that he always plays a song at the end of his tunings to make sure it sounds perfomance ready. He was spectacular and tuned completely by ear. I would highly recommend Manny to anyone who needs their piano tuned.

I checked around for rates on piano tuning. Most were about $125 - this company was $120. He came in and did a good job tuning; however, when he was done (took about an hour which is what they said over the phone) he said he needed to charge an additionl $15 for something (note: this was after the tuning was finished - did not tell me about it until it was too late)? He tried to explain why he charged extra but it really made no sense. It felt like he was trying to talk over my head and I was being scammed a bit. I paid the extra $15 without fuss and just came to realize that this is probably how it works. He quotes it on the front end a little cheaper and then makes it up after the tuning is complete. I decided I would just not use him in the future. The piano does sound great and he did a good job tuning but the customer service was not there (especially for a first time / possible life long customer).

Piano repair and piano tuning are two separate things.Your piano had five sticking keys in the middle of the keyboard. I discussed this fact with you and you wanted it corrected.I actually discounted the normal charge for that (which would have been $25). You should have just told me not to repair the piano and I would have tuned it and left the keys as they were. I am glad you liked the way you piano sounded.
