First, AWL is Ridgeway Mechanical who has one of top ratings on Kudzu. Same folks. I own a 1923 house in town. Came back from lunch Monday 4/22 to see a stream flowing down driveway. Called 3 people. All said need new water line. When I spoke with AWL they said they'd have Salvadore come by first thing. At 7:30 there he was...the pipe whisperer. He took one look at my crawlspace, another at the front yard, and said "I'll go right from the meter to the house." How? See picture. Not only that, he hit the spot in my crawl space that he was aiming for like a bullseye from 30 feet away. Salvadore is my hero today, and I feel like I dodged a huge bullet. The other quotes were both high and low, but both would have "hand trenched" through decades of landscaping. He also fixed my hot water heater which my handyman had done incorrectly and saved me a couple hundred $. If you need a new water line. You will be in good hands.

Hello! If you are having water issues these guys are awesome. We had trouble with the faucet leaking in the master bath and showed it to a few other companies before we called them. They detected the problem in no time (unlike the others) and charged a reasonable price compared to the earlier ones. I would definitely recommend them to family and friends. Thanks for all the help.

We had Atlanta water lines come out to fix a plumbing issues in the basement of our home. The service tech's that came out were very knowledgeable and got right to work. Also, they left no mess behind :) They did increase the bill like other companies when the work was done, but charged us what the quote was. We will be calling them back if we need them again in the future.

I called Alan this morning with a problem I thought was a PRV. He walked me through checkin a couple things and sure enough, it was just a valve that wasn't completely open. He simply helped me out for free and was happy he could. You don't find service like this anymore. Thanks guys!! Keith

Less than 3 hours after my initial call Josh was onsite fixing my water heater problem on New Year's Eve afternoon. The problem was quickly fixed and for a very reasonable price. I'll be calling them again if other plumbing problems come up.

Settled on Atlanta Waterlines after some pretty extensive online research, and happy to say I made the right choice. Spoke to Alan (the owner) in the office and he sent a plumber to my house immediately. The sewage pump in my basement had stopped working, and the plumber replaced it quickly at a price I could afford. He was friendly, efficient, and neat in appearance. I will definitely use these guys again.

We had Alan himself out at our house to fix a broken sprinkler system and water main to the house. Main had broken and we had no water. He stood outside for four hours making appointments and talking on the phone even though we had been without water to the house for two days. Finally, some of his people showed up and fixed things in about 15 minutes. Gave us huge bill. This was in October, it was too cold to test sprinklers. When we went to turn sprinklers on in June they didn't work. Also, main water line started leaking again as well. We assumed they would honor their work. Called Alan who never returned phone calls. Finally called new plumber to come out who said sprinkers would have never worked because Alan's people put backflow valve in backwards. He also had to fix water line all over again. Would never use them again. And am planning to report to BBB due to no return phone call response from them at all.

1) Alan has been out of the field for almost 18 months. 2) This is a disgruntled competitor who has written SEVERAL defamatory reviews, and who also has a sever drug problem. 3) We do not do ANY work on sprinkler systems WHATSOEVER. 4) This review was posted on 6-3-09, and the job was SUPPOSEDLY done back in Oct. 08'. 5) Nice try. Get help.
I just want to thank Alan, Tim and all the guys at Ridgeway. Working with a very unique sewer line issue, they diagnosed the problem, gave a fair quote and finished the job in one day. I will call them again and would recommend them to my Mother.

We are very impressed with the service we received using this company. Atlanta Water Lines came to our home to replace the water line from the street to our home. They came out Monday night and finished this afternoon. They showed care for our property and treated our family respectfully. The price was not the cheapest, but after reading the reviews here on Kudzu, we have to agree their service is the best. Thank you Atlanta Water Lines.

Thank you Alan and Mark for the wonderful service we received this past weekend. We called this company because of a sewer line that had been blocked by roots. They worked all weekend, but by Monday morning, they had finished the job. Our yard still looks good, they did a trenchless job for us, and we could not be happier with their service.

We had an emergency with a burst water line. We contacted Alan with Atlanta Water Lines and were pleased with the prompt response and service we received. They arrived that evening, later than we would have thought they were working, and worked into the early hours of the morning to get the water line replaced. Our situation is solved, and the fast and professional service we received from this company is the reason why. We have already suggested to others they use Atlanta Water Lines and would like to recommend them to Kudzu users as well.
