There was a review recently on yahoo where a person stated to be a "happy patient" I am glad you got treated well and you like your results. You did not state which doctor you saw? You did say that Dr. Smith is a respected doctor in Augusta. I thought so too. I know of at least four people who have gone to him and I think they were all treated well. He probably is or was a good doctor. I must have gone to him at a bad time. I wish I had been treated well instead of being treated as if I did not exist. The "happy patient" says I have deep issues and I need to get some help. If you had been treated like I was, completely ignored then and still now, ended up with a scar on your face that was not necessary and never told what was done to you - you would have issues too. As far as help, I am seeing a christian counselor, this is better than being put on additive drugs that would have only messed me up more. I think the treatment I got or didn't get from Dr. Smith has messed me up enough. I am glad again that you had a good experience. I just can't understand why some patients get treated professionally and others don't. It just isn't fair. I guess it depends on who you see and if it is a good time or bad time to be seen. I guess I was just an unfortunate patient. All patients should be treated professionally by each doctor at all times. A person should not wonder if they will be a lucky patient or unlucky patient at this practice,

It must be just making money off of the patients, because it is not knowledge or skill. This doctor is certified isn't he? I thought that was suppose to assure you of seeing a competent and safe doctor. Well it does not when you see Dr. Smith. When is the proper time for a doctor to examine and consult with his patient. It's been over a year and I still am waiting. I e-mailed his practice and asked to be explained what was done, how it was done and why it was done on just a bump that would have disappeared. He did not have the decency to meet with me. Does he not know. I'm sure he does not remember me, I was a nobody, he had no time for. So I say what good is certification, when the doctor has no time or interest in his patients. He did a procedure that I should have been informed of, but the one person who would be most affected by this procedure he left out of the plan. Why was it his and only his decision to do what he did to me. I should have had a say, but he wanted to show this procedure to someone and he wanted the money. The patient's welfare was not important. His welfare is his specialty.
