I've been looking for a barber shop in the Phoenix area since moving here last year. Having not been able to find a 'real' barber shop in the old traditional sense anywhere I was growing quite frustrated. I stumbled into this place on the Internet and boy am I glad I did! Went in for my first cut and realized as I was sitting down in the chair that they didn't take credit cards and I didn't have cash on me. As I got up to leave they said not to worry about it and to come back and pay when I could. Not knowing me from Adam I couldn't believe it. A great haircut and beyond fair prices (the cheapest I've been to in a year here) rounded out what was a very great first experience! I think this will be my barbershop for years to come.

Bagby gave me a free haircut when I was at zero in my wallet about 3 years ago. He mentioned that he had also volunteered for homeless folks downtown over the years. Recently, my sister passed and I spent all my $ on airfare and again he gave me a free haircut. He volunteers at his church, has had some serious recent illness and gives a top notch hair cut. Be ready for a very interesting collection of memorabilia when you go. Francisco Pablo Picasso
