I went to this location Sept 2009 to get my dog (small bichon frise) her annual check up and shots.... the wait time was long, (and i had an appt) but what really bothered me was the vet technician, he was very unenthusiastic and careless. then what made it worse was the way her shots were administered, they were quick and poked her as if she were some kind of holiday turkey. so of course my dog yelled and cried..... she was sore and lethargic for the next 5 days, which i'm aware was suppose to be "normal" however this year i visited the buford location and they were very gentle, she did not cry and she certainly isn't sore. needless to say, never going back to lawrenville location

I chose Banfield because of the convenient location, hours and lower costs. Not sure if this was the best choice in the end. I had to euthanize two ailing pets in recent years. You have to sign a multitude of forms agreeing to any and all charges at each step in the process. The forms (and the vet tech's attitude) struck me as very uncompassionate when making the hard decision to end a loved one's life. I decided to cremate my dog. Banfield lost her dog tag, which I wanted to keep as a memento. After she was cremated, Banfield called to tell me her remains were available to pick up at their store. This turned out to be incorrect. Jessica (the vet tech) was very unapologetic and apathetic about the error. Very hard to take while grieving. The vets themselves are very good and very compassionate. The front office staff, not so much.

I used to go to the Banfield in Duluth, that was the worst mastake I have ever made. I heard great things about the Banfield that is in Lawrenceville. So I deceided to transfer there it was the best decision I ever made. The staff was very loving with my pet like it was the only one there. My cat was very sick at the and 19 years old. They told me that we will do everything to help. So we then proceded to do bloodwork and some other test. They came in and told me that is was going to be ok just that she had a (UTI) and a Gluclose problem and we could fix it. I thought yeah right there is no way this could be fixed. My baby is doing great and is still living because of thier love and commentment for the animals. Thank you guys so much..
