I have 3 cats & a dog, all of which have been Banfield patients since they were born. Wellness plan for the first year is worth every penny but that is it! Every time I take my pets in, there is "something wrong" with them. They are always running way late (at least 40 minutes)the receptionist is the only good thing about the place. The dr's are rude. They don't have a set fee schedule, every time I take my pets in, the cost for the same service goes up (I can't get out of there w/o paying at least $120 w/ my discount). They keep HORRIBLE records, so I keep detailed records. When I show up for an appointment they'll ask me, "and you are here for???" Isn't it in their computer? Once My pet is "checked out" they can't print me any records. One dr. tells me my cats are perfect, a month later another dr tells me they are overweight. They are inconsistent and don't pay attention to their own records. It took them 3 years of them telling me my dog was overweight, before they checked his thyroid, doesn't that show up in the tests they take during the bi-yearly "Wellness exams"? I cancelled my "Wellness" plan. At a 10% discount on their services & $96 a month in dues, I really wasn't saving anything.

I have been a customer of Banfield's for many years, and at many different locations around the country. Everything about Banfield has always been great, until I started taking my cat to this particular one. The wait time is NEVER less than an hour to see even the nurse, (even when you have an appointment)and when they finally do "examine" your pet, they take their temp and then give you an overpriced estimate based on ????. Worst Banfield service. The vet is rude and short with the customers. The nurses are good but spend no more than 2 minutes with you.

I ended up canceling our plan because some doofus in their corporate office "misplaced" my credit card update request and ended up sending my account to collections. Lesson learned is just don't do automatic debits from a debit or credit card.

Having a puppy for the first time, I was TOTALLY inexperienced with what all was involved in keeping them healthy. The people at Banfield put me at ease and are so great!!!!! Bob and Kelly are the best!!!!!!!! If you feel like me, you're pet shouldn't deserve anything less than that.

Receptionists were very sweet and helpful...sad to say, but that was the only good thing about my experience. I waited for almost 45 minutes to be seen by the doctor. Doctor had VERY poor bedside manner. I brought my dog in for a new puppy exam after having him for about 2 days. She lectured me the entire time about his behavior. I'm sorry, but after 2 days, what was she expecting? Lassie?! And the price? Let's just say the price wasn't fair for the care I received. Will not go back.
