I have been with Bank of America for 7 years. I have had to pay the occasional $35 overdraft fee here and there. It sucks, but I was happy the payments at least were made. Recently, I forgot to transfer my 'paycheck' from my business account to my personal account for 2 days and our balance was already low. I transferred the funds the moment I realized we were overdrawn, but 12 overdraft items went through! I'm talking little things like debit purchases from the grocery store, to larger amounts like our utilities bill. I called customer service hoping they would have some mercy on me and perhaps charge only one fee per day of overdrafts at least. They wouldn't do anything about it. So, here I am a week before Christmas, money tight as it is, and I am out $420.00. Needless to say, I will be switching to our local credit union asap.
