I thought this kind of shop went away years ago, and could only be found in a Disney movie! You walk in, and suddenly you are transported back in time. They also have a hat museum with amazing hats from movies, TV shows and rock stars. While I was in there Andy Garcia (and he's still a total dish), came in. I got a photo with him! Baron's has hats "off the shelf" that they have made (most everything for sale is made in their shop), or you can custom order anything in the world, and they can make it. They also repair any kind of hat. I did the whole gambit. I brought in my grandfather's hat that we found under a ton of junk when we cleaned our garage. I loved that hat, but what we found was a dirty "pancake". I brought in a photo of him wearing the hat, and in about two weeks, I got it back, and it was magic. Like new. I have no idea how they do that. I also bought a straw Cloche hat they had made, and ordered the Audrey Hepburn "Breakfast at Tiffany" hat. They've been at this location for years, you can see and smell that (ahh, the smell of old shops, I love it). With all the other great stores gone (Like remember King's Western Wear on Van Nuys Blvd), this is a treasure. Check it out. You won't be sorry!
