I've been with Dr. Barratt for many years and when he moved practices, I went right with him. I live in Kennesaw and had my baby in Piedmont because that's where he was. Although he wasn't on call when I was delivering my son, he stopped in because he saw I was on the delivery floor and spoke to us for a few minutes. Two years later, I was having surgery in Piedmont and they put me on the maternity floor due to space restraints. He came in to see me even though he knew I wasn't there for another baby, just stopped by to say hello! He provides an excellent mix of compassion, forthrightness, and competency, which I find essential in a good physician. He is very caring, but doesn't sugarcoat situations. I find him personable, funny and willing to spend time answering questions to put you at ease.

I love Dr. Barratt!! I have been a patient of Dr. Barratt for many years (and two babies!) and have moved with him to his new location with another group. I simply wouldn't go to anyone else. He is kind, caring and extremely knowledgeable. He is also willing to spend time and listen to all my concerns even if they are not all ob/gyn related! I have not found any other doctor (either specialty or family practice) who provides the same caring, intelligent and responsive service as Dr. Barratt.

Dr. Barratt was a caring and helpful ob/gyn for many years. His practice was open to the best ob care for the patient, including "natural" and "homelike" deliveries for patients wanting this. I saw all Drs in the practice, NW Ob/Gyn. Their staff was also great.
