It's really a shame I have to give you guys a star to be able to leave a review because you don't deserve any. You guys are responsible for my dog passing away. Because of your doctors negligence my dog died. No one gave him the correct treatment or even cared enough to try to save him. You had no problem taking our money but had a problem with proper treatment. I am early into my pregnancy and this has been nothing but stress and aggravation for me and I can promise you this won't be the last you hear from me! No one go to Barton Heights they will kill your pet! "Dr." Wentz is not only rude but extremely arrogant and does not care about animals at all. The only time he seemed to care during our phone conversation was when I asked for his bosses phone number. He started to stutter and told us to get a lawyer if we aren't happy with our service. Not once did he even apologize for our dog dying! Absolutely disgusting!

The staff at Barton Heights are very rude and the night dr (an older woman) has no idea what she is doing. We brought our 10 year old maltese in at around 11pm last week when she was twitching and falling over. They stood over us while we signed the consent paperwork so that they can bill us and the Dr ran an xray and blood panel. The Dr. had difficulty reading the x-ray and she said "I have no clue what is wrong with your dog". She gave me pain killers and gabapentin. I had to take my dog home when she was clearly sick. When I got home I decided to google the symptoms and came up with vestibular disease. I called the vet back to inquire about this and they said that that diagnosis was included in "other". I then asked why they gave me the wrong medication and she said nothing. I called another vet the next day and he told me it could be vestibular disease just by knowing the symptoms. I called Barton Heights back and asked to speak to someone higher up than the vet I saw. Dr. Wentz returned my call and was unknowledgeable and rude. I explained to him everything that transpired and he said that my dog did not have vestibular disease because it does not cause twitching or falling over. When you do a simple google search, this is exactly what it causes. All the stress from getting the wrong diagnosis and medication, caused my fianc to go into preterm labor at 34 weeks. The only thing I asked for was a refund of at least the exam fee and medication since they gave the wrong one

Because we are pet owners ourselves, we completely understand how stressful it can be when your pet is ill and that that can be compounded by other stressors in your life. From our conversation on the phone I am glad to hear your dog is doing better. Also, as I explained on the phone there are many possible causes to the signs and symptoms your dog was showing. This is why the testing was necessary. Thankfully the testing did not show more serious disease and your dog is doing better.
I took my 14 year old dog to Bartonsville Heights Veterinary and left feeling exceptionally happy with the care that was provided to my best friend. The doctor and the technician were so caring and knowledgeable. I will definately be bringing my other dogs here as well.
