Please Do Not Use Benfield Electric. Company didn't show up as scheduled and didn't call to let me know that they were coming later. I called 30 minutes after the scheduled appt to find out that because schools were delayed they were going by that schedule and were going to show up 2 hours later. I spoke to service manager to see if the company would somehow discount the service because of not showing up when scheduled and for not calling and he wouldn't discount. He then said that since we started off on wrong foot they weren't going to come. I then spoke to the owner/president who apologized but said that they would not discount since the price was agreed upon when we scheduled. Since they didn't arrive when scheduled I questioned that and why I didn't receive a courtesy call to let me know about later arrival time. Owner then said something about cable companies givng you a 4 hour time span, but I said that he couldn't compare his company to cable company. I also complained of the way the service manager treated me. Owner did apologize and said that they would still come out, but my husband wanted to cancel. I told owner to cancel and he said, "My pleasure." and then he hung up on me. Afterwards we spoke to other electricians and found out that the price that Benfield was going to charge us was extremely high.
