I've been behind the scenes at this place and the "manager" that supervises the day camp dogs just sits there-doesn't run around or play with them. They nickel & dime you to death if you want your animal to get even a little bit of attention. If you don't pay for 10 min. walks or "play times" or any other add on, your dog will stay in his run (a long small cramped crate where they relieve themselves) the WHOLE time. I would never take my dogs here!

Like many of you, my dog is my child. I took my dog to "Best Friends" for the first time on a Thursday, I had just moved to Alpharetta and they were recommended. My dog seemed to enjoy himself, so I took him there on Friday night to stay the night. I completed all the forms for all of the 'extras' (walk, playtime, treat, etc....) and asked for a bath for his pickup on Saturday. My husband & I arrived at 5:30 on Saturday to pick him up. They closed at 5:00! Obviously we confused their closing time, we weren't running late or we would have called and requested some courtesy-we were use to our old Doggie Daycare (Wagging Tails in Midtown-LOVE THEM) and they closed at 7:00. We just made a human error. They never called us yet they had both of our cell phone numbers and THEY KNEW I only wanted him boarded for one night because our paperwork stated that! But the other thing that absolutely HORRIFIED both of us that as we approached the building we saw a sign on their door that they would be closed SUNDAY due to Easter! So, we could not pick our dog up until MONDAY!! We were absolutely heartbroken! We made an error on time-they should have called us! We were brand new customers, but even if we weren't that was just horrible! You will never convince me the people that run this establishment are dogs best friend. I could only imagine how the dog died in the other review that was posted! They completely neglect dogs and customers! Not professional !!!

Boarded a dog there for a few days over the holidays. Staff were very kind and the dog seemed like he had a great time. While not cheap, it seems you definitely get what you pay for here!

I have taken my dog to Best Friends for grooming and boarding, and I am always very satisfied. The staff is friendly and caring. They even let me call and check in on my dog while we were on vacation! I feel great leaving him there.

We're extremely happy with the service we get from Best Friends. Our dog absolutely loves going there for day camp (we love that webcam!) and we've had zero problems when we've boarded him there for long trips. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

My dogs love going there, and I can see that they're well cared for, so that keeps me coming back. It's pricey, and it seems like the final bill is always higher than what they initially quote. Check their math!
