Henriette came recommended to me by another of her happy clients and after careful consideration I made a commitment to engage her help in working towards my overall health and fitness goals. (Note: before this year I essentially had no health or fitness goals but decided that at 42 I ought to get some). I have worked with her 3 times per week since January of this year and have gained muscle density that I didn't know was possible, have lost weight, dropped 2 clothing sizes and feel better about myself than I have in decades. From her skillful and knowledgable approach to wellness and strength training I have embraced this recent work as a lifestyle makeover versus a temporary fix. Henriette is always positive and has continually followed up via emails and text messages to offer guidance and encouragement. I never imagined myself having the courage to join a gym and certainly not making myself vulnerable to a personal trainer because of the intimidation factor, but this experience has frankly been the best decision I've ever made for myself and I can't thank Henriette enough for working with me. I hope that anyone looking for a similar experience with a personal trainer will contact Henriette to let her help them transform their lives.

Henriette waited virtually an entire year for me to make up my mind that I was ready to change my life. Once I made my decision, she provided unbelievable support, patience, knowledge and encouragement to help me attain my goals. I am 30 lbs. lighter and more than three sizes smaller, and for a 47 year old, that's no small feat. I still have a long way to go, but I cannot imagine that I would have ever come this far without Henriette's guidance. She is a great trainer, but beyond that she is a truly amazing, warm, wonderful person who'll kick your butt and give you every tool to succeed!

Henriette has become more than a personal trainer, but rather my personal "fitness consultant." After 3 months, my weight is at a 10 year low, I understand how to eat healthier, and I am motivated to keep at it. So glad I did this!

Several months ago (March to be exact), I was contemplating getting a personal trainer because I was just not happy with my body. One day, on a whim, I googled personal trainers in Atlanta, and I found Henriette on Kudzu. I sent her an e-mail, still unsure if I was really ready to embark on what seemed a scary journey. She replied quickly and we set up a time to meet that week. I could tell from our first meeting that she genuinely cares about her clients and wants them to succeed. I was hesitant to start since I was so out of shape, but Henriette reassured me that I would be so much happier if I did, and she was absolutely right! Our first training session was that same week. When I started with Henriette, I was a size 8, and now I am very happy to say that I am a size 4. I am wearing clothes that I thought I would never be able to wear again. I feel better physically and mentally. Henriette's training does not stop in the gym; she also has helped me to understand that nutrition is a major key in my success. She has helped me to discover new foods that are healthy and easy to incorporate into my diet. Henriette is a professional and is great at what she does; I highly recommend her!

Henriette is wonderful to work with and I've been seeing her 3 times a week since the beginning of the year. She has managed to motivate me to work hard and also helped me become more conscious of the effects of my food and drink choices, with excellent results. In 9 weeks she helped me lose 23 lbs and begin the process of toning my body. She has me check in with her daily regarding my meals and, with her advice and guidance, I have begun to make better meal choices. I am amazed at how much better I feel. Her methods are very different from those of other trainers and, while challenging, they definitely make a positive difference. Understand that by nature I am physically lazy and self-indulgent - I am NOT someone who "gets addicted" to working out; my idea of stress-relief is a cocktail, a book and an ottoman for my feet. In spite of that obstacle, Henriette has led me to successful results week after week. I highly recommend her and would be happy to answer any questions people might have. UPDATE: I thought it might be helpful to add an update to my original review. I've now been working with Henriette for 9 months and have lost fifty pounds and 8 inches in my waist, while increasing my muscle density substantially. I have to give her a great deal of credit for keeping me motivated. I feel great and we're achieving goals with realistic lifestyle changes I'll be able to live with. She's great.

I was referred to Henriette by a friend and then referred her to a friend of mine. I just completed 20 sessions with Henriette and am going to continue my workouts with her. She does a great job motivating you to get one more rep in but also knows your limits. Understanding your personal goals whether it is weight loss, building muscle or both is her specialty. She helped me develop healthy eating habits that were easy to maintain throughout my busy day. Henriette is awesome!

I didn't think these words would EVER come out of my mouth but there it is: I'm actually enjoying my workouts now and I'm even looking forward to them, and all the credit goes to Henriette. Before I started training with her I was an active member at the YMCA (both cardio and circuit training) but I always went dragging my feet and looked for any excuse to skip a visit. On top of that I didn't seem to be getting any results: the lower half of my body kept getting "thicker" overtime. Henriette has changed all that: I train with her twice a week and even though it's only been a couple of months I can already see the results - I'm wearing pants that had not been out of my closet for a couple of years. I don't necessarily want to loose weight but I do want to loose inches, tone up and gain strength: not only am I achieving my goals, but I'm doing so with a smile on my face. Of course Henriette will push you hard but I like the variety of the exercises - you never know what will come next—and most of all she has a great personality and sense of humor. I would definitely recommend her even to the biggest couch potato out there

I have used 8 massage therapists or physical therapists over the last 10 years and Henrietta is the best. I'm a muscular fellow with degenerative disk disease. Henrietta is the only professional (male or female; physical therapist or massage therapist) who can massage deep enough into my muscles to really release tension and loosen my body. Her full-body or back-only massages are simply the best.

My objectives have been simple. 1) Build muscle and loose inches around my waist 2) Work on definition of muscle 3) Work on cardio endurance 4) Improve flexibility 5) Strengthen core 1 year later Henriette has helped me meet my goals, kept my workouts interesting with different strength and core training and kept me motivated 3 times per week by mixing it all up. Workouts are not boring and are not easy. Easy workouts I can do on my own but I need and have received the motivation that I simply could not provide on my own. Henriette is an excellent trainer, knowledgeable with a unique skill set spanning from muscular training, core training and message therapy. She beats me up in the gym and then works out the kinks in the message room. Watch out for leg day! A++

I have been a regular (2x per month) massage therapy client of Henriette's for over two years. I can honestly say that I feel she understands and is in tune with my body. She carries herself with the utmost professionalism and reliability and is highly trained and educated in a whole health, mind and body lifestyle. In addition to my massage therapy she has more recently been working with me as my personal fitness trainer on a weekly basis. I had been working out on my own for several years (running and lifting weights, etc), but didn't achieve the results I had hoped for. Henriette has created a workout program and a nutrition plan that has allowed me to reach my goals. I constantly look to her for advice and counsel on how to live that better bodies lifestyle and I am seeing the results!

I've known Henriette since I was pregnant in 2005, when I started seeing her weekly for massages. I credit her pregnancy massages for my easy labor and delivery and the easy-going nature of my now two year old. I've kept up with the massages, not just because they are exactly what I need physically, but because Henriette has become a friend and seeing her twice a month is what I need mentally! I truly feel that Henriette cares about both my physical and my emotional health, letting me vent when needed or simply relax in the indulgence of the massage. And when I've been injured with an ankle problem, she has deftly worked around it, as well as been available on an emergency basis for a shoulder injury. She is simply the best at what she does and is a warm, sincere and engaging person to boot!

Training with Henriette has proven to be one of the best health choices I have made. I have lost weight, shaped and toned up, gained strength and increased my energy level. In addition she has a fun and positive attitude that makes me want to continue training. I also receive massage therapy from her which helps with my chronic back pain. She is great!

I have been working out twice a week with my trainer, Henriette S., for almost two years now. I lost twenty pounds steadily over the first 9 months and have kept the weight off. I keep working out because I am gaining strength and definition,(I actually have a waist now.) but mostly because it is a great (and much needed) stress reliever. H. keeps the workouts balanced, challenging and interesting. She is a positive motivator and very knowledgeable. I can always count on her being reliable, on time and professional in every regard. Five stars!
