I have been using Blue Science about two years now and my pool has never looked this good! Such piece of mind knowing that they are taking care of it so well and I don't have to worry about pool issues on my weekends off! I had a slight hiccup with the company regarding a repair. They told me the trip charge for the electrician would cost $169.00, which I felt ok with. They called me back after the electrician did a diagnosis of the problem and I was told the repair would cost $388.00. I asked if that included everything and was told yes, that would cover everything. So I was surprised to see that the $388.00 was debited from my bank account along with the $169.00! I called Robert up and told him I had misunderstood the price and thought the $388.00 would cover everything, including the trip charge. He worked with his manager and managed to get the $169.00 refunded back to me. That is A+ customer service!

I have been using Blue Science Pool Service for about 1 year now. The techs are extremely friendly and call me anytime they see anything wrong (and even just to let me know that all is good!). I always get great service, but the reason that I am writing this review today is because I had a problem with one of my pool pumps. I called my usual tech Austin Morris to ask if he knew why my filter pump may not be running. After talking with him and sending pics of my filter basket and o-ring he thought he knew what the problem was. I was on my way out the door, but he made a special trip to my house later in the afternoon and fixed the problem. I love the service that I get from Blue Science! FYI...this is the second problem that I have had with an o-ring on one of my pumps (I have 4). The first time it took several days to have the company that put in the pool (won't name names here) to fix it. I wish I would have just called Blue Science to begin with to get it fixed, so thank you Austin!

I wanted to especially compliment service tech Jason who came to our house several times this week. He was always on-time, called before he came, worked his tail off and was a pleasant and informative professional. We have had service from two other pool companies in the past 15 years, but none of their guys come close to Jason in terms of knowledge, work-ethic, and intelligence. In addition, Orlando Morales in the Dallas office was very helpful in scheduling the service we needed. A bright guy that was clearly interested in our happiness with the process. Thanks for the turnaround you and Jason achieved with my swimming pool this month.

We've had Blue Science as our pool service for the past year and our tech, David Molnar is amazing. He lets us know everything...shows us what is going on and explains what it is he is doing and more importantly, he explains why. Also, he sends me a text or calls me when he is completing the weekly service to let me know he's come out, what he's found, what he's done and what chemicals have been added or what service has been performed. Blue Science has really found a gem when they got David! Our pool is 30 years old and looks better than most newer pools due to David's care! There have only been a few times that I've had any sort of issues and this was prior to David Molnar working on our pool and all it took was a phone call to the manager and it was immediately (same day) rectified. If Blue Science continues to employ people like David, they are definitely headed in the right direction and should earn the lion's share of business in the Dallas area. . -Heidei Reynolds

I have been using Blue Science for a little more than one year and I can say that it is regretful that I stayed with my previous pool service company for as long as I did. Blue Science has set a new standard of service and professionalism at a very reasonable price. Any of the technicians that have touched my pool in the past year have been consistent, on-time, incredibly experienced and quite courteous. Technician Jesse was over today to replace my dying pool pump and showed true saint-like patience in working with some old rusted bolts. His work ethics would not allow him to be anything less than a perfectionist with someone else's pool equipment. After he got everything connected again and working smoothly, he left the pool in clean and pristine condition. I would highly recommend Blue Science to anyone, certainly anyone who feels their current pool service provider is coming up short on quality of workmanship.

The repair technician showed up as scheduled and called me while reviewing the equipment. He found there was a problem with the pump seal and recommended some other parts as well. I pressed him for a quote on the cost of the work but he said he had to have the office contact me with the exact numbers. I told him I needed a call soon and held my breath. About an hour later I received a call from the repairs office and an email with the quote. Parts and labor for the seal and parts to rebuild the pump was about $250. I approved the work and asked if we could have it done right away. I was promised next day service and assured the repair tech would verify everything with the pool was ok when he was there. I couldn't afford to have the chemistry get out of whack since I had plans for the weekend. The next day the repair tech called me on his way to the pool and after the parts were installed. He then checked everything and went over the circulation, chemistry, and filter pressure with me on the phone. All was ok. Since performing the repairs last month that pump has run like new. This is the best experience I've had in 6 years with a company servicing our pool. They do a good job cleaning - and with the pump repair they were prompt, professional, technically capable, and able to handle everything over the phone without me having to leave work. I appreciate the way they do business and recommend them.

I was completely dissatisfied after the pool technician had been for the very first visit. The walls of the pool had barely been brushed, and were still full of algae. The floor had barely been vacuumed, and was full of dirt/sediment. The filter casing had not been correctly reassembled, and was leaking at the seal. And the pump area was left in a disgraceful state, with DE all over the area and even the windows! I left a voice mail message that evening, stating that I wanted a call back first thing the next morning. I had expected a call back from their office, but instead the pool technician called late next morning and said that he had cleaned the walls and vacuumed (short of calling me a liar), but would be back that day to rectify the problems and reassemble the filter casing correctly. He never came back. I had guests coming over that evening, so ended up cleaning the the pool and surrounding area myself. I left another voice mail message that evening to cancel my agreement. I finally received a voice mail message the next morning from their office, asking me to reconsider my decision, which I declined. I am appalled at their level of customer service. Not once did I receive any kind of apology from anyone at Blue Science. Also check out yelp.com, they filter their reviews, like some of the ones below which are bogus reviews from the company and its friends.

We first had these guys take care of our heater repair and then decided to go ahead and swithc our weekly pool cleaning to them as well. Pool looks awesome and we get communication if there are any changes to the service. Totally different from the horror stories we've heard from our friends with their pool service companies.

We decided to try this pool cleaning service company after purchasing a home and moving to Plano TX in January. When calling around we found their responses to our questions about pool service be the most up front. It took almost a week before our first service visit. Dave answered all our questions and showed us how to run our pool equipment. The pool has been clean every week since. The customer service and responsiveness is very fast. We feel the pool service rates are a good value. Having our pool cleaned and chemicals maintained saves us lots of time. We are really glad we hired Blue Science.

I've known Gabe, the owner, for years. He's honest, truthful, and a sincere businessperson. He's also had a hand in the pool service business for longer than I can remember, and I've known him since I was in middle school. I no longer work in the pool business, but I did for 5 years, and Gabe personally taught me how to service pools over a decade ago. If you're tired of dealing with people who won't deliver on service (both customer service, and pool service), just quit searching and call Blue Science.

My husband has Parkinson's and I have spent a lot of time taking care of him. Since hiring Blue Science I haven't had to worry about anything with my pool. They have been fantastic. They are always quick to answer the phone and eager to help. My tech's have been great and done a wonderful job. They have been timely and the pool has never looked better. I've had some other terrible companies in the past and Blue Science is definitely one of the best in pool service.

Extremely impressed with Blue Science Pool Service! I had worked with several different pool companies - that had no knowledge of customer service. With Blue Science - not only can I count on them in the Spring/Summer months when it really matters - but also in winter months when I have had some issues - but they have always been so quick to respond and so helpful - my pool always looks great!
