We've been with Blue Skies for about a year and love their program. They have horses for every level rider and offer a program that allows my daughter to be involved with the barn. She can volunteer on the weekends and have camaraderie with other girls her age. She has opportunities to have responsibility and learn in a fun environment. The staff is so encouraging and really wants to see her be successful. We love BSRA!

We wanted riding lessons for our children whom are young and we decided to get on the internet and saw this stable blue skies riding in Emerson. It was close and we saw reviews some negative and some positive. We decided to start by calling to make an appointment for a visit and we called and called. Finally, we got thru to a person whom was young and not interest in giving us any information. We spoke with the owner and then later we went out. The stable is ran very slack and not organized and we saw things that are not good. I understand why is is cheap.. I would not feel safe to take lessons there after what we saw. Each person should judge for themselves. We do not recommend this stable.

I have been riding with Blue Skies for almost two years now, and feel like I'm part of a family. I always wanted riding lessons when I was a child, but unfortunately never got the chance. I was nervous about taking on such a hobby as an adult, but all the instructors at BSRA have been extremely patient , supportive, and encouraging. I have to say that I am surprised at some of the reviews on here. Never once have I felt like I was in danger at BSRA. I have never felt that I pushed to do something I could not handle, or put on a horse that was too hot for me. The horses are all well cared for and very much loved. The owner, the instructors and the volunteers are always willing to help you, no matter what you ask (or how dumb you think your question is!) Recently, I had the opportunity to ride at some other facilities within the Atlanta area, and each time the instructor remarked on how wonderful my equitation was. I owe that to Blue Skies! I look forward to many more years of riding with the BSRA, and would strongly encourage anyone looking for lessons to give them a try!

Blue Skies is defiantly the best barn I ever been at and is unlike alot of other barns. Most of the horses at this barn are rescues and are saved from a terrible fate. At Blue Skies, we rescue horses that don't have a future and give them a future and give them the happiest life they could ask for. There are horses for all levels of riding and the instructors are the best! And instead of just learning how to ride a horse, the lesson students learn how to actually take care of horses and learn about horses on and off the ground. This barn is perfect for everyone who wants to not just learn how to ride, but learn about horses in general too!

Blue Skies is my favorite barn out of the many I have ridden at! Everyone there is so nice and the instructors are great teachers and you learn something new at every lesson! Blue Skies doesn't pressure you into buying or leasing a horse if you don't want to and has many great lesson horses for all levels of riding! Blue Skies also doesn't force you to show like alot of barns do but willingly takes those riders who want to show! They have a large, beautiful indoor arena so you can have your lessons in any weather and hosts several fun schooling shows and gymkhanas for their riders every year! This barn is perfect for every rider!

We were so surprised at the bad mouthing of other business and the instruction was not up to par very weak. There other stables near by that we have found to be very professional and that have the skills to take us to the next level of riding. Not good hunter jumper place maybe for trail riding.
