I was last at Brennan's for Valentine's Day and every part of our dining experience was exquisite. The service and drinks in the bar were great, and we were seated exactly where we had requested in the restaurant. The meal was fantastic and we had a great and enjoyable evening. I can only hope that now that Brennan's suffered the fire during Hurricane Ike that the will rebuild a new and better Brennan's for future generations of Houstonians to enjoy!

Don't budget for this, break the budget for this (or try lunch). This Houston transplant of the New Orleans classic is now completely independent (well, post-Katrina it was a little less independent), but is informed by that Southern Cajun Creole restaurant. Try anything, nothing is bad, and most everything is excellent. Many items are a little long-in-the-tooth for a hig end eatery, but that is part of the charm. Try the turtle soup, share some bananas Foster!

We just love Randy and the crew there. Service is impeccable. Food is creative and impressive with only the freshest ingredients. We love the "Friday Night Date Nights" cooking classes, as well. We don't often order directly off the menu, as the "Chef's Tasting Menu" is always great! Brunch is a classic. If you can get out on the patio in good weather, even for just a cocktail, you have a real treat!

Brennan's is a great place to go on a date. Very quiet and low lit. You are likely to see a notable face or two. The food is very very good. The filet is one of the best I have ever eaten. Bananas foster is delicious!

My girls took my out for dinner. Magnificent food and the menu is something you won't find at most restaurants. They have the best service you will find in town. And they have a special room for any occasion. And I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the bill.

I enjoy the hardwood floors the fun atmosphere and of course the best food this side of New Orleans. On the negative side you may need reservations at certain times.
