Okay, you have to like cafeterias to appreciate this place, but this is like no other cafeteria! We stop here everytime we pass through town. The food is REALLY home-cooked and down-home. The entrees are good and unusual for a cafeteria. The vegetables are wonderful and are seasoned just right. They start the line with desserts first, which always makes me think of the saying..."Life's too short, so eat dessert first." Their desserts are really wonderful. (My favorites so far are the chocolate pie and fresh peach cream pie - available only in summer.) The waitstaff is dressed in black suits with white shirts and recall a time past, and they're very friendly and attentive. Try it sometime!
