We bought a wood stove from Buttlewerth's in 2010. We were charged for two telescoping pipes to go with our stove, but instead found that we were given two regular pipes, one of which was dented. We were never reimbursed. The stove came with a cracked handle which was a complete pain to have them replace. The fireplace tools, that were over $130, broke. In addition, their level of service plummeted as soon as they made the sale. They were the sweetest couple you ever knew beforehand. After the sale, they wanted to nickel and dime us on everything. Their sweet attitude turned sour.

All products in our showroom are clearly marked with pricing. All products are inspected and signed for by the customer before it leaves our property. K Brand and her friend/installer picked up, inspected and signed for their products on Jan. 23rd, 2010. The handle on the stove was broken after that date, we replaced it at NO CHARGE. K Brand knew exactly what was being charged (book price) and K Brand was given discounts on all pipe and any accessories. There is no record of a tool set being purchased for $130 and no records of ANY complaints, dented pipe or otherwise. The pipe k Brand wanted to return was 1/2 of a set. This was explained to the customer and everything was fine as far as we knew. Why wait for a year to complain and then to a web site and not the company involved? There were never any "Sour" exchanges with K Brand in our show room. If there were complaints unfortunately they were not brought to us in a timely manor so they could be addressed by our company. A.
