When I first learned that Cafe Intermezzo would be opening in Midtown I was very excited as the neighborhood could use a good upscale cafe. Unfortunately, the experience has not been all that great with mediocre food.

I love Cafe Intermezzo! It is my favorite cafe in town. I love the variety of teas and coffee. Their desserts are superb! They have an attendant that explains specifically what types of desserts they have. The atmosphere of this cafe reminds you of a European coffee shop. I feel so relaxed and comfortable in this place. It is a great place to bring friends for great conversation.

Good vibes at this location (after you get past the snobby somewhat inefficient hostesses). The atmosphere is energizing and lifts your mood. The ambiance and reputation pulls you in and the food/desserts/coffees keep you coming back. I've always gone for the coffee/dessert/appetizers but on the last few visits my friend and I ordered lunch and dinner and were pleasantly surprised. The tortellini and chicken quesadillas are excellent! Wish the tortellini portion size was bigger because it is so delicious. This place lives up to its reputation. Yum!

The menu of coffees and desserts is staggering and pretty much everything is delicious. It gets very crowded, but it's still a nice place for a date or to meet friends.

Its a great place to take someone and relax. Though always busy, it has AMAZING FOOD! A lot to offer; drinks, desserts, and coffees. Expect to have a great time...

Not a bad thing on the menu. The service can be a little slow, but this place it worth it. Everything on the menu is outstanding, and th eportions are more than generous. My personal favorite is the white hot chocolate - delicious!!!

The service was fast. The food just to die for - and you can't even describe how fabulous the desserts. You can hear yourself gaining weight just looking at them.

As a place to go with a group of friends after a night out, it is wonderful. Even better, if you find yourself looking for a place to go with someone under the age of 21, this is definitely your place to go! The prices are a little high, but the size of the drinks and desserts is generous. They have food, but I've never had any so I can't comment.
