Callanwolde is the event facility that my husband and I used for our wedding and reception. It was fantastic, the facility is beautiful, and in a very convenient location near downtown Atlanta. It was a little cramped for the indoor ceremony, because we had over 150 guests, and we couldn't use the outdoor stage, but we knew that ahead of time. It was a little bit more expensive than I had originally budgeted, but the staff was friendly and helpful, and I just love the decor and park setting. It was great overall.

I searched high and low for a wedding reception venue close to down town Atlanta and quickly became frustrated with the options. Venues seemed to either charge way too much for what you got - or be affordable, but very poorly run. You get a lot of bang for you buck with Callanwolde, especially with their current "recession rates". I never thought I could afford something so elegant on my budget! This is the only venue we found in the city that is 1) large enough to accommodate 200+, 2) includes adjacent parking, and 3) lets you bring in your own catering and bar services. The staff is friendly and helpful as well!
