I went out on a few dates with someone who used to work at the Tucker location.. Here's some important facts about Camp Woof.. the staff turnover is very high..mainly because of the way the owner treats people.. There is no training for staff.. they just turn a new employee out with the dogs..to fend for themselves.. there are issues with abusive staff to the dogs. If your dog does anything bad..they get locked in a cage for the whole day.. The staff is told to lie to the owners..so they keep bringing the dog back for $.. No dog is turned away if there is a dime to be made. The boarding business is non profitable to them so that's why they put very little time and energy into it.... the retail business is where they make all of their money.. So don't buy any of their over priced items. The owner purchased this existing business and he has no concern for the well being and care of dogs.. He just wants money..and goes to any extreme to male a dime off someone.
Area Tucker, GA
Cost $250 - $499

We were a long time customer of Camp Woof in Decatur. Unfortunately they moved and it was no longer convenient for us to board there when we traveled. We tried another facility on Ponce and we were horrified when we picked our pet up after our trip. So we now make the trip to the new Camp Woof in Tucker. Keep up the good work ladies and gents! RIley lovs you guys!

We took our dog to daycare here for several months. She came back tired and happy, but the last several times she came back covered in poop and smelling like urine. We bathed her because we understand that dogs play and accidents happen, but after the third time we decided we wouldn't return and moved to another (slightly more expensive, but cleaner) daycare down the street. We did like the hair cut she'd gotten at Camp Woof, so we thought we'd return just for a hair cut/grooming. Called a week ago, set up an appointment and returned today to drop her off, only to be told that a) the groomer wasn't in that week at all and b) they had no record of our conversation. Went to pick her up, and sure enough - 15 minutes into her visit there, she's got poop caked on her behind again. We definitely won't be back.

We are a large daycare facility often having 50 dogs in one day playing. If we notice a dog that has gotten dirty we will often (at our expense) bathe the dog. We offer low cost baths with daycare and ask each customer if they would like the dog bathe. WE are sorry that this customer is not happy. We have many dogs that come to us 5-7 days a week and we never have complaints. We pride ourselves on a clean and modern facility offering a good product to customers at a great price.
I boarded my 2 guys at Camp Woof over Labor Day and was very please with what I saw. This company tool care of my dogs and I will recommend them to everyone.

I have been bringing my buddy Towser to this place for a very long time now. Being in the Air National Guard it is really nice to have a place Towser can go to and have fun and I feel safe keeping him at. As far as Quaulity you can't beat it. The staff there is extrmely atentive and nice. They realy care for the dogs which is the best part. As far as Service nothing matches in my opinion. Every staff memeber is kind, courteous and attentive. If you ever need anything at all Frank the Manager will do anything to make sure you are happy. I usually have to drop Towser off in a pinch being called in for service and Frank has assured me that he will always take care of Towser and myself. Now for Value you can't beat it! The best prices around. It nice to know I'm not getting hit by ridiculous prices. I do recommend this place to anyone who wants thier best friends taken care of. The vibe here is great not stuffy or pretengious at all. Towser always comes home tired and can;t wait to go to the Woof!!

I've been taking my 2 dogs to Camp Woof for about 2 months now. They go to daycare every weekend and have boarded twice. The change in my little ones is amazing! I have never had any issues witht he staff or the management for that matter. I used to come here a long time ago then stopped becasue of management issues. The new manager is fantastic! He and his staff really care about the animals. I'm glad I came back. I'm staying this time! Hip Hip Hooray for Camp Woof!!

Most of the staff members are great, especially Patty. As far as prices, theirs are lower than many other boarding facilities in the area. :)

Thank you for the kind words. We think Patti is amazing also!
I've been taking my dog Beck to Camp Woof in Decatur for almost a year. My dog LOVES it there and so do I! All the staff are wonderful. They truly care about dogs and it shows. I've never had any complaints or problems with the service or staff. In fact, we're so comfortable there that everyone is family to us! Keep doing a GREAT job!

Brought my dog to Camp Woof this past weekend on a short notice because I had to go out of town on a family emergency. Frank and his staff treated me with care and took care of my dog. I was going to Wag-A-Lot but will now start coming to Camp Woof! Great staff, management, so friendly!!
I have been a customer for almost 10 years now, but will never go back again. When I picked up my three dogs from staying over Memorial Day weekend, Cooper, my smallest, came out of the back completely covered in dried urine. His coat was totally yellow and sticky and smelled horrible. When I called this morning and spoke to the manager, Frank Butirro, he told me that I should have purchased baths for them. He did not seem to care at all of my dogs condition and only said that they were busy and thats why I should have them bathed. My concern is that Cooper spent the entire weekend that way and nobody took a moment to look at him. Why would I pay someone to watch my pets if they aren't being watched.Basically your dropping your pets off to fend for themselves in a caged environment.
This is a friend of the person that wrote the bad review above. We always ask if you would like your dog to have a bath when they go home. In our facility dogs are out in a play group for 7-8 hours a day. Dogs get stinky especially when they are in a large group. By the way this customer has been back to our facility several times since this happened.
Long time Customer- since they opened 8+ yrs ago. Have always been satisfied until now....now under new Mgmt. I took my dogs for Memorial Day weekend and my 10 yr old Jack Russel was injured with an unexplained deep gash on her head and "no one knows" how. My Vet said it is not from a dog fight either- which would have been understandable. When I went in person to talk with the Manager (Frank) he immediately took the stance "we're not liable, you signed a waiver" with NO empathy whatsoever. He said "this happens all of the time." Really? If so I STRONGLY CAUTION anyone who considers taking their family pet to this place. A $200+ vet bill later I will NOT be going back- EVER. 12.04.12 Wrong Customer for your response. You have me confused with someone else. Although I did think of saying many profanities, but refrained. My dog is a She, not a He. And who is Khale85? Your facts are confused with another incident I'm afraid.

This dog was the instigator of the attack. He pinned a smaller dog in a corner and the smaller dog showed teeth then lunged at him. The dog was scared and we could not get them separated quick enough. Unfortunetly the other dog was bitten on the ear not the neck. Camp Woof took the dog to the vet and paid the vet bill. Khale85 was just nasty to the staff and a lobby full of customers witnessed the abuse of the staff member. We asked Khale85 to leave the premise but she would not leave until we threatened to call the police. She went yelling that she would not be back and mother f_____er this and mother f______er that. She then called the facility and asked for a refund. She was told that she was charged for the boarding stay and not the vet bill and started cursing the staff member out on the telephone. She called back at least 35 more times that evening and made threating remarks to a staff memeber and on our answering machine.
I have been a long time customer of Camp Woof in Decatur and find it discusting that people try to discredit a good business. They have always taken great care of my dog and I will always recommend them to anyone that needs the services they provide. They also have a kick a.... groomer.
I have an elderly dog and it worries me when I have to travel on business due to his age and ailments. I have been using Camp Woof since Nov 2011 and have been very pleased with the service they give my dog. They take care of him like he was there pet. I highly recommend this company to anyone looking for quality boarding.

Decatur had two gas main leaks in a week and each time I was called as a courtesy to let me know due to the traffic situation. I know I want to get home after picking up the doggie then get home. Because of the courteous staff and management at Camp Woof Decatur, a horrible drive situation was made much easier. My doggie always loves to come here too.

We have been taking our dog here since she was a puppy. The staff is friendly, knows our dog, and best of all she loves it there. Our puppy is very energetic, and we were worried about how she would interact with other dogs, but Camp Woof does a great job of dividing the bigger and smaller dogs and introducing animals. Now she is comfortable enough to play and even relax at Camp Woof. She sleeps in her own cage or has "down time" there. I have not seen the private sleeping quarters though. Camp Woof is also a good value compared to other boarding services. We don't have to worry about our dog when we take her to Camp Woof.
