I entered the store and started walking to the last isle on the left where my dogs' food was located and I slipped and fell and landed on my knee. The owner was in the next isle over from me less than 10 feet away and the employee behind the register was about 5 feet from me. I looked at both of them after falling and said that they needed to put some cones down because this area is slippery. They both ignored me and continued about their business. I was completely shocked by their lack of concern for a customer especially one that was obviously pregnant. After getting up I realized it was dog pee that I had slipped in. I pointed this out to them both and all they said was that they didn't know that it was there. Not once did they ask me if I was okay or if I needed some ice for my knee. At one point the cashier even admitted to seeing me fall and had the nerve to say that I was okay, insinuating that I was just be dramatic. After I continued to complain about their lack of concern and general customer safety the owner told me to leave his store or he would call the authorities. Falling when you're pregnant is one of the scariest things that can happen to an expecting mother and being disregarded in such a cavalier way made the experience even more disconcerting.

I have boarded my dogs at Best Friends and Camp Bowwow but decided to try Camp Woof because of my neighbors recommendation. I was very pleased with the service and care that they gave to my Beagle and Border Collie, Maxwell & Sasha. The facility was clean and modern and the staff was great. I also realized how much I was overpaying using the other facilities in the area. I have started to use the daycare service that they provide and bring home 2 very tired pups.

Nobody likes to board their dog - we certainly don't - so we liked using Camp Woof as an option if we had to, knowing our dog at least got to play with other dogs and get some fun exercise while there. In the past when we went there the staff was always really friendly, loved on our dog, and made us feel good about leaving her there. They have a new manager (as of our July 2012) visit and our experience COMPLETELY changed. He was snippy to us, he paid no attention to our dog, he lied about a conversation he had with one spouse, not knowing the other spouse would find out, and most importantly - when we sent an email the day after we picked up our dog sharing our concerns we received NO RESPONSE. Not a word... In my books - if someone doesn't appreciate my business enough to follow up with me, that speaks volumes... they don't get my business anymore.

We are not quite sure what myopinion2 is talking about. Our manager Beverly has been with the facility for over 4 years and we do not have a new manager. We have a large facility and there are 3 additional assistant managers. All emails go to the Camp Woof email address and the owners address. If there were any concerns, Beverly or the owner would have address the issues. We want customers to come back.
I have tries other places but I know use Camp Woof only. My dog is so excited when we pull in the lot and he suffers from separation anxiety. The staff is very friendly and nice. Yes he has come home with some scrapes but that can be expected when you have a group of dogs, even at dog parks. My dog and I love Camp Woof

I have used Camp Woof 3 times in the last year for boarding and take my dogs there for daycare occasionally. I am very confortable leaving my dogs there and they are always treated well and seem to have a good time. Isn't it ashame that there are people that use Kudzu to bad mouth good companies. The last 2 reviews are obviously written by the same person a day apart. Keep up the good work Camp Woof. Tess and Barnie will be back for the 4th of July.

We boarded our yorkie for 3 days and got a call the second day for an employee named Leanne who told us our dog was bit in the ear and was taken to the vet. We come in to find he was bit on the neck instead. How do you mistaken ear for neck? Are they really paying attention to your loved pet? We were still charged full price and was not comped or given a discount. We were told we didn't have to pay vet bills and that was enough by the African American male employee there. Did you really expect for us to pay the vet bill? Never coming back again. poor service

Same customer as above just trying to discredit a good business. We took the dog to the vet and Camp Woof paid the bill. When Leanne called the customer we were more concerned with the dog then getting medical attention. This dog was gone from Camp Woof for less than two hours. I'm not sure why the customer thought that they should be comped. We provided a service to this customer and fulfilled our obligation. By the way this customer already received a discount by using a half off coupon. I'm sorry that they were not happy with but with any business we expect to be paid for the service we perform. We could have charged the customer for the vet bill (as outlined in the contract they signed) but we covered it in it's entirety and WOW, African American male employee....how racist can you be?
I have used Camp Woof four times in the last year and have always been thrilled with the service my 2 dogs get from them. The price is right and service is good.

I recently went to the beach and had to leave my "babies" for a week. I recieved a deal on boarding and decided to give them a chance. Our first intro day was free and they gently introduced my guys to the large play group. Upon pickup they were happy (and exhausted). We dropped them off a couple weeks later for a 7 day stay, which caused me a bit of stress. They were happy to go in and went straight back with tails wagging. The staff was kind enough to let me leave a sweatshirt with the boys and they even shared a room! They have a full store of doggie goodies that I could buy for my boys during their stay. Each morning I would pull up the doggie cam and could see my guys with tails up, moving with the pack and having a great time. This little perk greatly reduced my stress and I was able to enjoy my vacation....thanks Camp Woof for doing such a great job! We will be back for some play days!

The first thing I tell people about CW is how much my dogs LOVE going there. Both dogs get really happy when we drive up and I nearly always see them playing when I watch the doggie cam. The second thing I tell folks is that CW employees treat the dogs like their own - lots of play and affection. Sometimes I feel guilty for not taking the dogs on roadtrips with me, but I know they have more fun than they would with me and that they are very well cared-for.

I stumbled by this place a few weeks ago. Someone at the dog park in Norcross told me about an amazing place for dogs on Buford Highway. I went over to Camp Woof with my Golden Tags that afternoon and found a Universe of dog products and an amazing place to bring him for daycare. There selection of foods and treats is just amazing. But what really got me excited was when they told me about daycare on the weekend was just $10.00. With as hot out as it is getting I much rather drop him off for a play day on the weekend. We have been back 3 times so far and when we get to the parking lot Tags goes wild. He seems to have so much fun there.

Today at 3:00pm I went to the Dog's store to use the cupon for my little Dog, when I went to pick him up; they gave me my pet back exactly in the same condition than he was when I dropp him before, they just spray him, (THE DIDN'T BATH HIM), when I asked her; she told me; (The Yorkys are very difficult to bath), I told very nicely to the lady and explained what happend, and her reaction was UNACCEPTABLE, she took the pupy back, went inside the store and she came back with the pet (TOTTALY WET) AND THEM SHE TOLD ME; NOW YOUR DOG IS CLEAN!!! This is the first time in my live that I go to the some place and they treat me like TRASH, I'm no HAPPY with the service and they can make sure that I'll let know every single person that I know how BAD, TERRIBLE AND UGGLY SERVICE THEY PROVIDE. I'm so happy with (Half off Depot) because I always use every single cupon that I receive, the prices are amazing. I really appreciate if I can get my money back, I feel so bad about they treated me and I can say that I WON'T COME BACK TO THAT PLACE. Mariangelica R

The customer had a coupon for 1/2 off a bath and nail trim. She thought that this coupon would be for a full grooming. The dog was bathed correctly as were the other 25 dogs that day. We offered to re-bathe the dog but the customer did not understand since she only spoke Spanish and had her young daughter was translating. I am sorry she did not understand. The customer paid $9.00 for a bath and nail trim and expected a $50.00 grooming.
My wife has always been hesitant leaving our dogs in a kennel. Last week we had an emergency and had to go out of town quickly, we usually have a neighbor take care of the dogs but the neighbor was not available. We took the dogs to Camp Woof and left them for 4 days. This company did an amazing job taking care of our guys. I would recommend them to anyone needing boarding services.

I would never go anywhere else for my pets' needs! There are great values in the Sale Room, regular specials throughout the Store and for both Daycare and Boarding - and I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the people there!

Thank you for your kind words. We have been told by many customers that our staff excels.
My three dogs have boarded with Camp Woof for a couple of years now. The staff know each personality so well. It is about a 35 minute drive and I do pass other barding facilities. I would not consider taking them anywhere else. Camp Woof is thier second home and they love it! Very well taken care of. No worries and I LOVE the cameras!
