I've tried for 3 times to purchase a shotgun from them. I went in earlier this week and let me just say the lack of customer service is an understatement. They are very rude and arrogant. Considering the neighborhood, I really can't understand that. You would think they would want to cordially assist customers that dare come over to that side of town. Then they tell me they have a 40 day waiting period before they can sell your trade in firearm, Um that would be your problem Mr. Owner for locating in a site that requires those laws. Then the sales man that was attempting to help me starts talking about which shells I use, and telling me all of these stories about a gun show he went to. Um sorry, I'm not here to talk to you about your life experiences or find out your opinions on which shotgun shells are better than others, I'm here to purchase a new gun!! Buyer BEWARE, I finally walked out and I will never be back. This just in, there are plenty of other stores that will offer you good prices on the same guns. Maybe that's a news flash for the owners of Candler Pawn. Take your business elewhere!!!

I called Candler Road Pawn Shop to see if they had, or could order, a particular gun for me. He mumbled something to someone on his end of the line and then mumbled something else. I couldn't tell if was talking to me or not, so I did not respond. Then he said he had in-stock a different model from the same brand, using an incomplete model number. I asked him to clarify which one he had - there are 5 variations of this gun, and he said, with attitude, "Man, what do you want?" I told him again what I wanted, and with more attitude he said "I already told you we don't have it." Brief silence, then I hung up. I own a retail business and I get all kinds of difficult to understand people calling us. My staff is trained to speak clearly and do everything they can to figure out want the customer wants. If we don't have it, we offer to order it. I would have been happy to have Candler Road order this gun for me. They seem to have no interest in actually selling anything. I would love to support a local business but why would I pay money to someone who treats me like this guy did? I rate them poor overall because their phone service and bad attitude preclude me from doing business with them when I suspect that they could easily get the product I want. If he had politely said that they could not get what I want, or no longer carried that brand and, perhaps, referred me to another dealer, I would rate them high in spite of the fact that we could not do business.
