Our long-haired Goldendoodle had matts under his chin and under one leg, but the rest of the hair on his body was unmatted. The owner (Barry?) said at drop-off that he would need to "shave the matts." I regularly use a matt removal tool on the dog, so I know how to get them out, which I do every few days. Instead of removing or shaving the matted areas and returning our dog to us in some semblance of his prior self, we were handed a 50 pound hairless rat. I told the owner/groomer that I believe he is lazy and takes the easiest course of action for himself, despite charging me $90 for this travesty. The cut from my first visit at this place turned out fine. But I should have followed my gut and never returned when I saw the owner/groomer leave a dog standing in its restraining collar on the grooming table and go into the back room even though the dog could have easily fallen with that around its neck. I won't go back, and if you use his business, don't say you weren't warned.

Barry is the best Poodle groomer in all of Atlanta! He also grooms my other two non-Poodle dogs and does a great job. The staff is great and my dogs really like Barry whether it's for grooming or daycare. Highly recommended.

Barry Bourgeois, owner of Canine House of Style, is one of the top poodle stylists in our area. As poodles have the most elaborate clips, he handles all other breeds with great ease. I have been taking my standards to him since he opened and they always look drop dead, traffic-stopping fabulous. More than that, Barry is friendly, upbeat and truly loves the animals. As do his staff whom he closely supervises. My youngest stays at his small daycare facility and I have complete confidence her safety . In fact, often at "rest hour'' she snuggles in Barry's lap (something she doesn't do with me!) I feel so fortunate that Barry's shop is close to my Virginia Highlands neighborhood. I wouldn't think of taking my dogs anywhere else.

We have tried many groomers in Atlanta with disastrous results. We have a Lhasa Apso and a Miniature Schnauzer. Barry and his staff are always attentive to our and our dogs' needs. They always cut the dogs as requested - even if our requests are different than traditional breed cuts. Our dogs always leave looking great. Also, the value is great, what you pay for a full-groom includes services that most other groomers charge extra for. If you want your dog to look amazing, Go to Canine House of Style!

My dog was scalped. :( They chopped off the long hair around his face which was his cutest feature and not the correct way to groom him. Not only that, when I picked him up he was itching with FLEAS! Spare yourself and your pet from this place.

I am very pleased with my first visit to Canine house of style. I have a very nervous and hyper dog and he freaks out anytime I take him anywhere and leave him. Barry took the time to get to know my dog, pet my dog, and help keep him calm. When my dog used to come home from his former groomer he was always exhausted and immediately went to sleep (which is unusual for him because he NEVER wants to sleep!). However, when he came home from Canine House of Style he was his usual happy, hyper-self. This kind of makes me wonder what went on at the other groomer to make him that tired. I highly recommend Barry and his team for your pups grooming needs!

Barry and company do a bang-up job with my little bichon and cocker spaniel. They always look great when the come home from a day at Canine House of Style. Flexible scheduling and doggy daycare options make my life a lot easier too!

When I moved to Atlanta a year ago, I went everywhere. My ShihTzu, Suzy was only a year old and I wanted to avoid any bad experiences in her early years. I was unfortunate and had several. Fortunately, I was referred to Barry at Canine House by a neighbor who also had a ShihTzu. WE LOVE HIM! Barry is very attentive to Suzy's needs and always takes into account, her mood during the day she visits. She loves going and I am now leaving her for day care too. I recommend them highly.

The Canine House of Style isn't just a grooming business, they also have the best obedience trainer I have ever taken a class from! Kathy did wonders for my dog. What I particularly liked was that she didn't just tell or show us what to do, she explained the reasoning behind it. That was very helpful. The groomers also do a great job. (Mine hasn't needed much more than a bath and wrinkle cleaning, but some of the other dogs that come out of there... WOW!) Everybody that works there is great, and it's been a great pleasure to me to do business with them.

Super friendly, reasonable prices and a job well done every time. My dog is horrible when it comes to being groomed, but they handle him really well; one time, I even came back to pick him up to find them holding him and playing with him so he wouldn't be so scared. They are also great at accommodating my weird work schedule so I can pick him up whenever I need to. Great personalized service!

Fairly new to the ranks of dog care providers, this little hidden jewel is a must-try! Very home-like daycare environment (very clean and comfy) and beautiful grooming. Employees are friendly and informative and obviously truly care about their doggie customers. My little guy can't wait to get out of the car and run in when we pull in the parking lot!
