This dealership is HORRIBLE! Watch out, they will scam you! They tricked me into coming out one day by saying they had a car I was looking for, and when I got there they pull an "Oh, sorry, that sold earlier today" when they said they had it just an hour before. Bait and switch! Few days later they called me and said the person who bought the car was bringing it back, so I decided to go look anyway. They promised they had worked the car into my payment range I needed. Trusting them, we did a credit check and took the car home. Two days later they call, and tell me the PROMISED payment went up by $50! That was NOT the deal. We went in and they tried to blame the bank and say it was because we have 3 car loans (which we don't!). This must have been what they did to the person who tried to buy the car first, and why they had to bring it back! NICE SCAM. I also found later there are two significant chips in the windshield someone covered with paint, so I didn't see before I bought it and can't make them replace it. Their service sucked and their staff was rude. In another review someone said the guy JJ has no manners - SO TRUE!!! My family and I love returning to dealers to buy a car about every 2 years. WE WON'T BE GOING BACK TO CARL BURGER.

Take your business to The Mile or Mission Valley. There is no such thing as a perfect dealership, but this one sure falls into the category of lousy! Lots of pressure, guilt trip and (the thing they do best!!) belittling when you say no to a deal they make. They came back at us with 100 different ways to pay exactly the same amount for the car when we asked them to work on the PRICEthe car, not the term! Beware of this younger fellow named "JJ" who obviously never had a parent teach him manners, nor a boss who paid attention to his unprofessional interaction with customers. I'm sorry, but if I come in and give you a chance to get my business, the LAST thing you should do is be sarcastic and LAUGH at me when I turn you down on your offer. Thinking he was too BIG and IMPORTANT to waste his time with... oh yeah, THE MONEY WE WERE ABOUT TO SPEND at your business? You know, that thing called RENT that you need at the end of the month? Well buddy, you wont make it if you treat every customer like they are an imbecile for not signing papers the instant you throw some numbers on the table. Then to walk through the showroom shaking your head and laughing like "you just SHOWED US who's boss". Tool central. And to top that off... management doesnt even care that their employees are behaving this way. We walked off the lot without a goodbye. Take your business to someone who will APPRECIATE IT, hey and maybe even offer you a water or something while you wait!!!

My Chrysler Sebring was idling rough & my dashboard oil light would flicker when I stopped at intersections. So I took the car to Carl Burger Dodge in La Mesa at 8355 Hercules Sreet. The service advisor, Miguel Guadian, was knowledgeable & courteous. They shuttled me home and a day latter they picked me up & the car works just fine now. Four recall upgrades were found & installed at no charge. In addition, an electric wire was worn & replaces, a leaking oil sending unit was replaced & the front end was aligned rather than replacing the upper right ball joint as recommended by another auto repair station. I found the personel at Carl Burger Dodge professional, competent & thorough. The next time you need any automotive service or advice, I highly recommend you at least check out Carl Burger Dodge in La Mesa (619-667-8207).

The staff at Carl Burger Dodge are a great group of people. From the moment I walked in the door, I felt an "at home" feeling. The whole process of buying my car was so easy, I wouldnt buy a car anywhere else. Thanks
