I love Carol for her generous heart, her transparency, and her passion. She is so wholeheartedly sweet in her care of pregnant women, that no matter what's going on or how busy she is, she always makes you feel like she has all the time in the world for you. Carol really challenged me during my pregnancies to strive for excellence in nutrition and caring for my body and baby. During my difficult labors she was a very calming influence for us, and I was so impressed by her intuition and expert knowledge. I'm so thankful for Carol and I love her to pieces!

If it were possible I'd give Carol 10 stars. She is an amazing midwife, and woman. There are few if any midwives in the area she practices in who are so willing to give as much of themselves to their clients as she does. On top of her great "bedside" manner, she continues to educate herself on the most current medical technology, advice, practices and standards. Carol was present for all of my first child prenatal care, delivery, and postpartum care. As a first time mom I feel there is no one who could have done a better job at lighting the path to motherhood. She ensured that I knew I was both strong and capable enough to birth a baby on my own without outside interference. There is no better feeling than giving birth to a baby and then snuggling up in your own bed, without Carol that miracle of over the moon happiness wouldn't have happened for my husband and I. There is only one other person who loves and appreciates this midwife as much as I do, and that is my husband, because she was also there to guide and help him into the transition of fatherhood.
I feel so grateful to have worked with Carol for the birth of my daughter. Carol provided me with excellent prenatal care, solving issues through nutritional advice that the medical community could not help me with. I felt very safe and supported during the birth in Carol's competent hands.
Carol is an amazing, strong, supportive and caring midwife. My family and I felt so safe in her care, and after a less-than-perfect hospital birth experience with our first child, our home birth experience with Carol could not have been more healing and perfect for us!
I chose carol for my midwife at the birth of my 1st child last year. We interviewed several experienced midwives and even worked wth a nurse midwife but as soon as we met carol we were so pleased and lucky to have her services. Finally a healthcare provider who trusted me to take my health and birth experience into my own hands and make it the best I could with her unwavering support. Carol is not a nurse- she is better than a nurse. She is an absolute expert in midwifery. If you want a homebirth experience that is safe and reflects your individual prefrences with a caregiver that is knowledgable, honest and dedicated then you want Carol as your midwife.

There is no midwife in our area like Carol. I used her services for prenatal care and home delivery for my last two children and only wish I would have known about her and home birthing for the first 3. Carol is knowsledgeable about medical procedures as well as using natural and herbal treatments, patient, caring, encouraging of nutritional needs, and totally passionate about life from the womb, breastfeeding, and mothering issues. I highly recommend her!

Her focus is on helping me be a super healthy mama so I have have a super healthy baby and have the best chance at having an "easy" and peaceful home birth. Her methods were gentle and I appreciated her attitude that it was I that was doing the delivery, she was just there to gently guide me as I desired and needed it.

Carol is an amazing midwife! She is caring, compassionate, and gentle as well as being extremely knowledgable. I will be going to Carol for all upcoming home births. I will note that Carol is a licensed midwife. Not a nurse. Nor does she do nursing care. She deals with all aspects of home birthing. :)

Carol delivered my fourth child at home (my first home/ natural birth) and it was a wonderful experience. She is not a nurse, but an experienced midwife who has delivered near 1,000 babies. While I opted not to have one, she does offer water births. Please feel free to email me if you are considering using her and would like more information. firstname.lastname@example.org

Carol Gautischi has overseen the pregnancy and births of both of my children and is now currently overseeing our third. Even though we live in Bremerton, we continue to return to Carol as our Midwife. Her prenatal and postnatal care, knowledge and skills is beyond the average care you may receive in other medical areas. She is very personal with her clients, deeply caring about you as a whole person. She also teaches a pregnancy and birth class that I felt was vital in preparing for birth and labor. I know that by seeing Carol both me and my baby are assured the healthiest pregnancy possible.

We have known Carol Gautschi for many years; over these years her expertise and knowledge have helped with at least eight births (five mothers) in our family. My direct knowledge is that Carol has a vast wealth of knowledge and expertise that I have seldom seen in the medical profession. If you are able to have her attend your pregnancy and birth you will be fortunate indeed. In a word, Carol Gautchi has achieved NINJA status in the birthing world.
