Dr. Laurae M. Carpenetti, MD Hated it! There is no sense in using this office as a primary care office as they absolutely DO NOT care. Quick version: doctor visit, no antibiotic as deemed "not necessary", ok. Fast forward to a fall and a concussion and an ER trip with a CT scan. Scan shows sinus infection. (headaches from both infection and concussion). Call the doctor, fax over the CT report (as instructed by ER) doctor says no antibiotics without coming in YET AGAIN! Seriously? Not asking for narcotics, asking for MEDICALLY NECESSARY WITH CT FOR PROOF for antibiotics to be called in! Which by the way should have been given at the first visit! When I told them our family was leaving the office and posting bad reviews everywhere, Vicky's response was "OK."

After being a patient for five years and thinking each time I saw her that she would do a better job, my latest "physical," was very incomplete. Most of her time was spent filling in the questions on her computer, never looking me in the eye or even asking how I was feeling, very incomplete exam. After two weeks, still haven't been able to get blood work results from her office.

I'm shocked at the bad reviews. I have seen this Dr. for several years now and while the office staff is a weak spot here it has gotten better. All doctors are busy and over booked, the key here is getting in early in the day. She takes the time you need to discuss your issues and care, which is why the wait times increase as the day progresses.

After being a patient for 7 years, I've finally had enough. Phone calls to the nurse are never returned. Even if you schedule your appointment out several months in advance to get the first appointment of the day you'll still wait a minimum of 45 minutes in the waiting room. Twice the doctor leaves without telling you the appointment is over or writing out perscriptions - leaving you in a waiting room for another 30 to 45 minutes while someone finds her to write your scripts. She works so few hours that you'll never see if for a same day or even same week appointment. This will leave you no choice but to go to Urgent Care for anything other than your routine physical. Frankly having no Dr at all was better than my experience with Dr. Carpenetti.

Today I waited 2 1/2 hours and still did not get seen by doc. I went in for a yearly physical and waited and waited. Staff claimed the computers were down - but I was not informed of this when I checked in at the desk. If someone had told me the wait would be very very very long I would have rescheduled. Once I gave up - just ran out of time, I asked to go ahead and have the labs drawn as I was fasting. And the Dr told me "no" - my physical would then have had to be within 30 days - and they were just so busy. Really -- I would think a better approach would be to give me an appointment immediately instead of putting me at the back of the line. But, no, that was not the approach taken. I will not be back. Side note - I had not seen the dr until today. But had dealt with the PN and had acceptable experiences. But the doc ---- no thanks. Save your time - pick another and maybe you will get lucky.

I started going to Dr. Carpenetti at the beginning of this year. I recently had some follow up lab tests done and when the result came in I received a voicemail from a nurse in the office. When I finally got back in touch with that same nurse( it only took like 4 or 5 attempts), she informed me that I had a life long condition, without explaining what that means to my health or my life and that they were sending a prescription to a pharmacy. I asked for more information about the condition and the medicin and was told I could make an appointment with the doctor but would have to call back another day. they would not just have her call me. And about the medicin, well, I should read the pamphlet. Well, thank you very much for nothing... I do believe that this form of disinforming patients can be called malpractise and open doors to lawsuits. Apart from this the staff is slow and rude and if you have an appointment, count on waiting for at least 30 extra minues. Go somewhere else, that's what I am doing.

after two years of being a patient and trying to be understanding of less than average care. Doc is a nice lady but is extremely overbooked, too busy, and too distracted to even pretend to care about her patients. Wait times are excruciatingly long - you may get to an exam room quickly, but don't expect to be seen for a while once you are back there. I have fallen asleep waiting - twice! Have never recd a timely (same day) call back from her nurse. Have had office call at the last minute to reschedule appointments twice - and I have only been to this office four times. Not good odds. Office staff is pleasant and professional, but has to spend a lot of time apologizing for Dr. C and her providers. There are other options for care - our family is looking for a new doc.

Same as the other reviews, this office didn't treat me very well, I was forgotten about while fasting for test and left in a room for an hour and a half while the staff went to lunch. I left and there was no calls to apologize, no trying to reconcile, nada!

I have been more than patient with this doctors practice. From the front desk to the lab tech, nurse and doctor they continuously drop the ball. I have given my preferred contact number so many times only to have them call and leave messages at the numbers I do not want them to call until I had to remove all numbers but my office only to have them claim they don't get an answer, I have four incoming lines! One office visit was almost two hours because they had a new computer system, another time they forgot I was in a room. My labs are never given to me without me having to call and then they have some young girl give me a vague idea what they are. Last time after 4 weeks I called them, left a message, someone left a message at my office which I returned within the hour to get their voice mail which they did not answer and then I got a rude letter saying they couldn't reach me. I am so tired of doctors who don't care!! Looking for one that does.

Good luck getting a HUMAN when you call this office for an appointment, to talk to a nurse or heaven forbid to get test results!! The computer that answers the phone instantly dumps you into voicemail and they NEVER call you back!! My sick husband waited for simple blood test results for almost 2 weeks.

I had a bad feeling about this doctor after my follow up visit with her. I found her nurse to be very personable but i didnt handle much with her to really judge. I had blood tests taken at my original visit and did not get ANY results under my pre-set 2 week follow up appointment only to get the results back and see they were signed for by Dr Carpenetti 2 days after I was in her office for the blood work. I was given my results and prescribed medication which has only made me feel worse 2 weeks later and when I came back to the office ask questions to further understand the "why" behind her diagnosis was treated VERY poorly by Dr Carpenetti and was told "since you do not agree with my approach , i would suggest you find another primary care doctor" and she WALKED OUT OF THE ROOM on me... HOW UNPROFESSIONAL???????? i was not given any answers that I had asked for just told the test she had dont were the correct ones and that was all she was willing to tell me. I will NEVER return back to her....

I really like Dr. Carpenetti and I have found her to be quite thorough, however, I have a very difficult time getting an appointment with her. For the last many times I've been sick I've had to go to an urgent care center to be seen because the office doesn't seem to set aside any time for urgent visits or sick visits. I will be switching doctors because this is completely unacceptable.

This Dr makes you wait forever, even with an appt. Staff seems annoyed with you. Seems like she really doesn't want to help. I felt like a waste of her time.

My experience was exceptional. Her nurse was great and very friendly. I can't imagine someone writing negative comments about her or her staff. Maybe the patient was having a bad day and not the staff.

Dr Carpenetti is personable and easy to talk to. Her nurse is friendly to me. Dispite what other reviewers have said I dont see any rudeness etc. But there are only 1 or 2 in the front office that are friendly, the lab tech woman makes you seem like she is busy, the triage nurse is, well I dont know what she is, she has yet to help me on a call yet. My last lab results took so long that I had even gone to another MD, had labs drawn, received the answer and meds before I got a call back from nurse on the labs done in Carpenetti's office a month earlier. On top of that, the message left for me on my phone gave me the same diagnosis I have had for years!!!! The nurse acted like she was informing of my diagnosis for the first time, and if it was a first time, shouldnt the Dr have called? This is why I have not returned!
