Matt and Jennifer at Carpenter & Co have been incredible! They offer a great service - fast, reliable, efficient and always leave the house nice and clean. Whenever we need electrical, painting, carpentry work or other support around any of our properties - they are always there to offer support and Steve and Jeff are like family! We highly recommend Carpenter & Co!

Carpenter & Company was recommended to us by Davis Window & Door Company to replace one large window. (Davis explained that most window companies won't do only one window, so they work with Carpenter for small jobs.) We also had repairs done to a supporting column under a side porch overhang, and some painting done on an outside soffit. The work was done separately because the custom-size window took a long time to arrive from the manufacturer. I interacted with five people at Carpenter and each one was professional, friendly and reliable. Jennifer and Sharon in the office were so helpful and proactive in scheduling and follow up. As a woman at home alone, I felt completely comfortable with the men doing the repairs and their work was done correctly with high standards. We will definitely call Carpenter & Company for any future repairs!

We had a lock that stopped working properly. Matt came to the rescue. He was very polite & efficiently repaired the lock. No hidden charges, we will definitely recommend the company based on our experience.

I was much better off before they came disrespected my property and left. I purchased a new ABS tub to use as my dog bathtub because I had a tub that was damaged. And, now I have a tub that is damaged. Steve's statement that, "it is not a very high quality tub" is totally unsubstantiated. This is the same tub that is installed in travel trailers and motor homes. The quality of the tub is not the issue. The quality, or the lack there of, of their work is the issue. Previously, I had a drain that sat straight in the tub and drained straight and now I have a drain that sits crocked and water collects on the wall side of the drain. Previously, I had a drain line that was rigged up and now I have a drain line that is rigged up where they cut it and put a coupling in it because they were trying to get the tub drain to sit straight. Previously, I had a ceramic mural that was safe in the box and now I have a ruined mural that is on the wall with the grout lines more than three times as wide as the surrounding tile. The mural was intended to be the center piece. I had a ramp that didn't adjoin the wall and now I have a ramp with poor low quality ply board, multiple drill holes that doesnot touch the floor. They had no respect for my home because they threw mortar and grout all over my brick wall and construction debris in my flower bed.

I have used these guys for years and they have always been reasonably priced and did a great job. The last time I called I thought I had a broken outdoor faucet, and one of the guys explained to me that there was nothing wrong with the faucet and the fix was something I could easily do myself. They could have replaced both faucets and I wouldn't have known the difference, but their honesty gives me a whole new respect for this team.

I have used their services several times over the past years and each time, the individual/s sent to do the job was courteous, knowledgeable and worked very hard to complete the work quickly and thoroughly. All debris was removed from the site. I had absolutely no clean up. They are prompt and reliable. I am extremely impressed with their service and will continue to use them in the future. Also, they ensure you are given a complete estimate before they begin a job. They guarantee their work too! Jennifer Meehan is just great!

I had a negative experience with these guys, but it was over 6 years ago so the company may have changed since then based on other reviews I've seen. They were friendly enough but I was very unsatisfied with the work they did and after a couple of visits, I eventually just gave up and paid them off to go away. That wouldn't happen these days since I've dealt with a lot of contractors since then and know more about home repair. On the one hand, I should have been more assertive but on the other, they sould have known the work was not up to par (I still have pictures to prove it). Let me just say that when dealing with a contractor by VERY SPECIFIC upfront about what you want and stick to your guns if there is a problem.

This is my 1st review on Kudzu but regularly find services here. I called Carpenter & Co & they dispatched someone to do a quote. They stuck with the time they said they would be here. I scheduled the work and the two gentlemen that performed the services were extremely professional and did better than expected. I even altered the work order before arrival for something a little less and the bill came out exactly correct. I will be using Carpenter & Co again for their services. Prompt, Courteous and a good value.

My aunt suggested this company to work with getting some additions done to the house. Scott and David have been doing most of the work and are very patient and understanding of our needs. Every time there was something not done to our liking they went back to fixed it with no problem and the quality of work they do is amazing. I am very happy with using this company and Talking with Cheryl and Jennifer on the phones about scheduling and any specific questions. The owner Matt also is a great guy and does very good work. Hes a hands on guy that has worked in the field for many years and still does now. I would suggest this company to anyone that needs handyman or general contractor work.

Our realtor recommended Carpenter several years ago and we have had nothing but professional service, attention to detail, and competitive pricing. Carpenter and Co. is the 1st phone call we make when a home improvement task comes up.

They changed a chandelier out of a two-story foyer. It turned out the light switch didn't work so they went to Home Depot for me and got the right parts. Great job!

We were happy to find this company. They showed up on time and were very polite. We had a good feeling about them during the estimate. The office personnel, the manager, and the crew are all very nice. We had other companies give estimates but none of them stayed as long as Andrew did...and Andrew took the most measurements...and he was the only one who took photographs. They were very accomodating and patient too.
