I did not have a good experience with Dr. Carspecken. I hope this review at least helps one person. Not only did my mother not have a good experience (tummy tuck with little result), but I also had a bad experience. Overall I ended up having to go to another Dr to get Carspeckens work redone and it cost me another $8K. Do not contribute to this guy's bentley and vacation home fund.

I had a breast lift done by dr. carspecken and i would not recommend going to him. i could write a story about how i feel, but the one thing that will always stick in my mind is this: By the time I had gotten all of the stitches out (2 months after my surgery) and had numerous post operative visits, I was not at all feeling comfortable with him or his staff (namely his nurse. everyone else was pleasant). At my last visit, I told him exactly how I felt about my breasts. (I felt he took out too much volume. And my right breast, which was slightly larger before surgery, was now smaller than my left). He became very defensive. So much so that he left the examination room and got my before photo, held it up in my face and said that if I wanted, he could change it back to that. I honestly could not believe it. I was shocked that a doctor would act in such a way. Although after his nurse made me feel like I was being a baby about feeling pain while getting stitches pulled out from my sore and still healing breasts, I guess I shouldn't have been surprised. If you do decide to go to Carspecken, I wish you luck. I know he is not the worst surgeon, and yes, he is talented and has a lot of experience. But he and his nurse have this way of acting as though because theyve been doing this for 30+ years, it should be a walk on the beach for everyone. Well, it's not. And I would definitely not go back to him.

My name is Chad. I had rhinoplasty by Dr. Carspecken. He is a good surgeon and very safe to use. He practices at Piedmont Hospital. I had rhinoplasty and septoplasty in December 2005. At first I was dissapointed, but I didn't realize how much the swelling goes down after a year. I would recommend Dr. Carspecken as a conservative surgeon to use. Make sure you tell him exactly what you want.

It is unfortunate and I hate to give someone a bad review, but I did not have a pleasurable experience with Dr. H Hutson Carspecken MD working at Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta GA. I had rhinoplasty and septoplasty by the Dr. and since the surgery I have a complete nasal obstruction on the left side of my nose. When I went to the doctor he laughed at me and said my septum was warped now and there is nothing he can do. This was $14,000 later.
