This is my favorite mexican place!! The happy hour is truely the best...good drink specials and free food!! Not just chips and salsa (which they do have and it's yummy) but free hot food that they continue to fill up as it's eaten. Enchilada bakes, nachos, spicy wings, meatballs, and some awesome mini chimichangas. It goes from 3-7 or 8 and is a great place to meet, drink and eat!!

Compared to the previous location in Old Town, the food here just does not seem to be up to quite the same standard. Also very noisy interior. Service was on the slow side. Didn't care for the dining experience overall and won't be returning, unfortunately.

Loved this place when it was in Old Town. Still good but not quite the same. Hard to find parking since BJ's is right next door. Missing a little ambience but margaritas are still good!

I love this place. I used to go here all the time when it was in Old Town. Then they moved it to La Mesa which made it closer to me. Thank you. They have the bomb chips and salsa. Their margaritas are excellent. It is always busy which sometimes causes a lag in service. However, the servers and busers are all very friendly and willing to bring you whatever you need. Great place to take a girl for a date.

Sucks having to drive 20 min. away when it used to be down the hill from my plac but its still the same great food and atmosphere. Be sure to get a flour tortilla there to die for!!!

although this moved from it's location in Old Town and was bought out by a NY company, they still offer delicious food in a fun atmosphere. They have the yummiest margaritas and I LOVE their chips and salsa! I am so glad that they are still around, even if no longer in Old Town.

I used to eat at casa de pico when it was in Old Town. I thought it was gone for good until I stumbled upon in in Grossmont Center. Super good food for a reasonable cost. Wonderful atmosphere. So glad They are still around!

While they might be a touch on the pricey side for some people, they have got some GREAT Mexican food! Their Shrimp and Avocado Crisp is one of the house specialties, and well worth the money for it. Their margaritas are also tasty as well! Perhaps the only problem is parking; it can be horrible around dinner time and on the weekends, and can be horrid around the holidays. Not exactly a problem of the restaurant itself, but something to consider.
