I've been going to Chatham Crossing for about six months and I'm finally just giving up. Firstly, I see a new resident every time so we have to review my medical history every visit. It also means you'll never have a doctor who takes the time to get to know you. Everyone's been friendly and taken notes, but no one has actually done anything. Every single problem that I went in with (and it's a laundry list, believe me) I'm still having problems with. It took me months to get anxiety medication even though I've been diagnosed bipolar since 08 and each time they refused to give me pain medication for chronic pain that's been going on since 04. Thyroid patients beware. Although I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism in '10, Chatham refuses to treat until your TSH reaches an 8 or 9 -ridiculous for some patients who are hypersymptomatic and need their TSH to stay below 1.5 especially considering the UNC healthcare system's policy is to diagnos at 3.3. They refused to treat my migraines as well. I gave these people too much of my time and money already- find someone else!
