Recently, my dog Max was having problems walking in the back legs. My previous vet said that it was a problem with his back and medication for pain was all we could do. I saw Dr. Smith and his staff for a second opinion and was glad that I did. He looked at Max and determined that his back was not the problem, but instead his knee! Max has had surgery on his knee and is on the road to recovery. He should be back to his happy self soon! Thanks Dr. Smith for getting to the bottom of what was going on with Max and giving us back our happy, go-lucky dog!

Thank you for taking the time to review our hospital. The staff and I are thrilled that Max is doing well. We wish Max a speedy recovery. Thanks again. -Dr. Smith
You want a pet lover taking care of your dog...look no further! Every visit Doc Smith and staff are on the floor playing with my dog and trying to make her feel right at home. The vet care is spot on and communication after the fact is awesome. I wish my own Dr would take note of that! I could not imagine taking my dog anywhere else. Thanks Chattahoochee.

Our 12 year old Standard Poodle was in pain because he has arthritis. He no longer had a good quality of life. Dr. Smith suggested laser treatments, and we decided to give it a chance. Our poodle is now like a young puppy running after younger dogs and noticeably better. We are so happy with the results and very thankful to Dr. Smith. I highly recommend it!

We are thrilled to hear how good he is doing after laser therapy. Arthritis is one of the most common problems in our dogs and cats as they age. Technology and improved understanding of the causes for arthritis pain have allowed us to dramatically improve our care for our patients. Thank you for sharing your story. We hope to have many more success stories just like yours using our laser therapy. -Dr. Smith
Good but pricey, especially when it comes to medications and lab work. Manager could use people skills, rest of the staff is great.

Thank you for your assessment of our clinic. Myself and our veterinary team strive to create a five star experience. Our passion is animal care and client education. As a team, 3 stars, is not acceptable and we will continue to learn and improve to ensure that our patient's and clients receive the most comprehensive service and care possible. We are always making every attempt to keep our costs affordable for our clients, which can be an everyday challenge due to the continual increasing costs of the pharmaceutical and reference laboratory sector. Our ultimate goal is to provide exceptional care for our patients and continue to keep costs affordable, while working with clients to make that a daily reality. I love to hear from clients and get their perspective on our hospital. It is the best way to continue to improve and ensure that all aspects of our hospital are top notch. I am determined to have exceptional care and service for our clients and patients. That is the way it should be everyday. Thank you again for the review. Dr. Smith

Thank you for the review. We love having Daisy visit us at the clinic. Thanks for the recommendation. See you again soon. -Dr. Smith
We have been going to Chattahoochee Animal Clinic for several years now with our 2 dogs. They have always been extremely welcoming, friendly, and informative. Its a bonus having Dr. Smith's emergency experience and availability on the weekends. The latest incident involved my lab eating a sock last Sunday. We hated to bother the doc on the weekend, but we were worried, so we contacted him at home. He walked us through how to make our dog vomit the sock back up(which he did, yeah!) and then followed up with us the next day. They are devoted and really care. I can't say enough about them. Thanks Chattahoochee.

Thank you for taking the time to review our clinic. I was as thrilled as you were when Mack was able to get that sock out and avoid potential surgery. We view our clients as family and for that reason we are available to help our patients outside of normal business hours. It is never a bother to help any of my patients. We look forward to seeing your family again soon.
Dr. Smith and his staff are top notch. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. Dr. Smith was very detailed and compassionate with the care he gave my dog. He walked me through a plan to help my dog get through a stomach issue and then followed up during then next few days. I can't say enough about how much we appreciated the follow-up. Definitely, recommend!

Thank you for the review. Follow-up is a huge part of our care. By checking in after discharge, we are able to ensure that the cat/dog is recovering appropriately and answer any questions that you may have once home. Thanks again for taking the time time write a review. -Dr. Smith
Our first visit was an annual exam for our cat. The price quoted was over $300 and was much more than we usually paid at our previous vet. The tech who examined our pet first really gave us a hard sell to do everything they suggested. When we refused, she was obviously taken aback. They did follow our desires, but the free claw trimming that was supposed to be included was not done. We'll give them another chance.

Thank you for taking the time to review our hospital. Our goal at CAC is to provide superior veterinary care, while providing our pet parents with an outstanding experience. It appears that we fell a little short during your last visit to the clinic. I apologize for my staff not performing the nail trim. We attempt to make each and every visit a 5 star experience. I can promise you that your next experience with be just that. I do appreciate your honest assessment of the hospital, as we are always trying to improve and address our clients needs. We were thoroughly pleased to take our new dog to Dr. Smith. He was very kind and patient with our dog. He did a complete examination and gave recommendations for the medications on her eye condition. We have used several vet clinics over the years with our other pets. We did research and found the reviews on Kudzu. We wanted to try Chattahoochee and are very glad we did.

Thank you for the great review of our hospital. In this day and age review sites have replaced word of mouth for small businesses. We are honored to have received good reviews, which in turn, guides great clients to our hospital for the care of their pets. We are thrilled that you have found us and welcome to the CAC family.
Our Golden Riley was diagnosed with cancer about 3 weeks ago. He wasn't sick before so it came as a shock. Dr.Smith and his staff were actively engaged from the start including setting up our meeting with one of the top surgeons in the southeast. Not only did Dr. Smith speak with the surgeon every week, I personally spoke with Dr. Smith several times during the process. He always made himself available regardless of what time I called and answered all my questions and provided his thoughts and our options. In the end, Riley ended up crossing over the rainbow bridge which we did at CAC's office. They couldn't have been more compassionate and accommodating, we thank them ALL with a special thanks to Jason for everything... This wasn't the first issue Riley had (crazy active dog!!), so I can't say enough about Dr. Smith's staff. I've been to a lot of vet offices over the years and I have never met a more caring and compassionate group no matter what the circumstances. Thank you Dr. Smith and staff...

Thank you for such kind words during this tough time. The loss of a family member, whether human for canine, is never easy. But we can always look back and remember all the great times that we had with them and how much joy they brought to our family. Riley was one of the best pups I have ever come across and will be sorely missed at the clinic. The staff and I are here for your family. Take care. -Dr. Smith
Our cat had been a patient here for a few years, when Dr Andy sold the practice we discussed moving to a more convenient office ( we live in Smyrna) then Willow had some UTI issues in December. Right to Dr Marcus. We had such good care, we will not consider moving. Great follow up care. All the staff are fantastic.

Thank you for taking the time to write and great review of our hospital. You highlighted a key component to great care and that is follow-up. The staff and I believe that following up on our patients after discharge is a key piece of treatment. It allows us to check in on the status of the patient, answer any additional questions from our pet parents, and ensure that our treatments are working as planned. Thank you for bringing that topic up in a review. Thanks for sticking with Chattahoochee Animal Clinic. Dr. Smith
We had a not so nice experience w/ our last vet(s) We had heard great opinions and personal experiences about Dr Smith. The clinic is very close to our home.So we decided to try him for my furbaby's checkup. Left very happy with the time and care he took Sophie & us. I always think vets are expensive, but ya gotta do what ya gotta do for your babies!

Thank you for taking the time to review our hospital. We are thrilled to have Brutus as a patient of ours and look forward to seeing him again soon. -Dr. Smith
We had a great first experience at Chattahoochee. The staff was very nice, the rooms were very clean. Dr. Smith is extremely kind and went out of his way to educate me. He really care about his patients. The staff was very upfront about fees and did not pressure me into additional services. They called the next day to make sure my dog was feeling well after her vaccinations. I am glad I found a great vet for my dogs!

Thank you for the fantastic review. We are thrilled to be able to provide you with veterinary care for your pups. We work very hard at ensuring our pet parents are educated about their pet's health, so thank you for that recognition. We look forward to seeing you in the future.
Our dogs Zipp and Savannah have been seeing Dr. Smith for about a year now and we are so very thankful we found his practice. Dr. Smith and his staff go above and beyond every single time we are in. It is so hard to find personalized service these days that doesn't feel rushed. We have been to many vets over the years due to relocating, fostering dogs, etc. and there is just no comparison to the service we have received at Chattahoochee Animal Clinic. I am repeatedly in awe about the amount of time Dr. Smith and his staff spend with the dogs and their thoroughness and obvious concern for our dogs' well being. Dr. Smith promptly returns phone calls and personally calls with test results. His staff always squeezes us in for emergencies, and Dr. Smith is willing to take emails and respond to questions. And the staff is so friendly and patient with my many questions. We are most appreciative to know our dogs are in such good hands.
