We are so happy and excited to have our backyard transformed into a beautiful oasis. Mario is a true visionary. He and his crew went over and beyond to make our project (s) much more than we anticipated!! Friendly, hard working, honest business men, on top of being true artisans at their craft. We are already planning for more. We now have a gorgeous patio with a majestic fireplace, complete with retaining walls and flower beds. Thanks for all the extra touches and effort you put forth on our behalf Mario and crew! We will recommend you to all our friends and neighbors!!

I can't say enough about this company! They went above and beyond. The patio is a work of art and Mario is fantastic! He designs everything and is out there doing the work with his craftsmen! Our Fire Pit and Patio is the talk of the neighborhood. Best investment we made in a long time! We are in love with it!

We hired Cherokee Stone Center to build a stone retaining wall, steps, fire pit and patio. The project dragged on and on with the workers not showing up on a regular basis. Part of the job was to lay sod on two areas of our yard that were newly created by the retaining wall. The sod was laid and never came in properly because the workers used masonry sand and not river sand. The grass looks terrible. Another problem is that the workers laid a stone patio over our existing sprinkler pipes. In doing so, they punctured the pipes and now there is water leaking from under the stone patio. When I addressed the problems with Mario (the owner), he offer to give me two pallets of sod to lay myself or have someone else do it ($2000+), and completely washed his hands of the sprinkler issue that is going to cost $450 to fix. His words - "I am washing my hands of the sprinkler problem" and "I did you a favor by laying the sod." Mind you - I paid for the sod and was told that the sprinkler issues would be resolved to our satisfaction before we ever agreed to the job. The project has been a complete disaster and I am now going to have to take legal action against Cherokee Stone Center to get the issues resolved to a reasonable level and to recoup the money I will need to spend to resolve the disaster we have been left with. I could not, in my right mind, recommend this company to anyone.

Have to praise Mario at Cherokee Stone. What a wonderful man and his crew also. Mario makes you feel like your a family member, easy to work with. He has built a huge beautiful brick indoor fireplace, restoned the outside of it and made a flag stone patio with a retaining wall. I will never call anyone else. You can trust Mario and count on him for quality work.

Mario did a fabulous job taking my idea and making it come to life. His first design captured exactly what I had in mind. The workmanship was excellent and it was done in the time frame he described. He is so easy to work with and extrememly pleasant. I would not hesitate to reccommend him to anyone.

Mario and his crew did a beautiful job on our community gates. The old stucco was removed and replaced by beautiful custom stone. The entrances look updated and beautiful. The job was done well, on budget, and on schedule. Great work Mario.

Mario and his team at Cherokee Stone did a GREAT job building and designing our fire pit patio. He was accommodating to my requests and had great suggestions to make it better while keeping it affordable. I had 6 other people bid the job but Mario was always on time and willing to work with me and meet with me. They arrived on time and cleaned up any mess as promised. I highly recommend Cherokee Stone Center!

After extensive research and MANY quotes from other companies, my wife and I decided to go with Mario and Cherokee Stone. We are glad we did!! Mario designed a patio and an outdoor island (with storage) for my grill and Big Green Egg. The finished product is absolutely amazing. And his prices beat EVERY other quote I received. Installation took only 3 days despite some pretty severe weather delaying the start on day two. Mario was on site each day to check the quality and progress of the work. It was apparent he takes pride in his work. We will be utilizing Cherokee Stone's services to complete our outdoor project later this spring/summer. I look forward working with Mario and his team again.

We learned about Cherokee Stone Center from a friend who was completely thrilled with the backyard patio and outdoor kitchen done by Mario (the owner). We had him surface our outdoor concrete patio with flagstone as well as create a stone bench with a fire wall (basically a linear fire pit) and it turned out perfect. His prices are very fair (not the cheapest but certainly not the most expensive) but several things distinguished his work. 1: he handpicked the best flagstone himself from Tennessee. 2: he placed quality work above meeting a timeline (I can live with that "weakness"). 3: fabulous personal customer service from him and so easy to work with. We wish we had known about him when we did our side patio this spring because there is simply no comparison between his workmanship and the other company's. If you need any hardscaping work, Mario is the person to call, because he is an artist at what he does.
