We are a full service feline-only veterinary hospital. We tailor our vaccine protocols to each individual cat's needs. We promote preventive care, such as annual exams and dentistry. For our senior patients, we do routine blood work regularly to hopefully catch diseases or illnesses before they start showing symptoms. We carry prescription diets needed for those patients with digestive problems, allergies, kidney disease, obesity, bladder stones and crystals, etc. We sell flea products,.. medicated shampoos, glucosamines, house fleas treatments, tooth products, and so forth. Our boarding "townhouses" are seven feet tall, giving cats extra vertical space for exercise.VIEW MORE »VIEW LESS »
I have been taking my cats to Cheshire Cat for years. Dr. Ann and her staff are the most knowledgeable, friendly, caring and compassionate people I have ever met. Last year I had to put down my cat, Sofie, due to cancer. The staff at the clinic treated Sofie with such dignity and respect. They helped me get through the terrible time I had adjusting to her loss after having her as part of my family for 12 years. They even sent me a condolence card where everyone wrote a message. Their handwritten notes of condolence meant the world to me. I would have no hesitation whatsoever in referring anyone who is a cat "pet parent" to Cheshire Cat.

I brought in a healthy cat, and left with nothing. The vetrinarian "accidently" gave my kitten surgery when she was only supposed to have a vaccination. She died in the process. I cannot believe that this kind of neglect can occur in such a civilized society. The vet not only refused to apologize but stated that because my cat was an older cat, she would have died soon anyways.

I received excellent service when I called for an appointment. The doctor was caring and very knowledgeable. This was the best veterinary hospital I have used in the last 10 years !! Smelled good too!! Alittle expensive, but you receive the quality that you are looking for in an veterinary hospital.

My kitten's "examination" consisted of weighing my kitty on a scale. Nothing else. What a waste of my hard earned money. Also, she used a dirty needle on my kitten. How do I know it was dirty? Because she dropped it on the floor. That's why. She also treated my kitten very very roughly and I would not reccomend this vet to anyone.

I had heard great things about this vet, so I took my cat there. It wasn't the best vet I have ever been to, but it wasn't horrible either. There are much better vets out there that handle cats!

As the name implies, this vetinerary clinic is specifically for cats. Located in Pacific Beach, Cheshire Cat Clinic provides superior care for cats. They're friendly, caring, and Dr. Ann Middleton is one of the best in the business, in my opinion. It's not the easiest to get to, if you don't live in the area, but it's well worth the drive.
