This review is for the breakfast and lunch menu only. The food is not bad, not wow and nothing super special. The ambiance is really just ok only. A neighborhood cafe, with friendly people, crowded and 30 min late even if you made reservations. Prices are high given the quality of the food. A few thoughts on what we ordered... - crab benedict: I like my croissant on the side and hollandaise sauce on the side and I wonder why I even bother getting a benedict. But, their crab benedict is yummy because they gently stir fry the crab and it tastes really good. Make your own omelette: the prosciutto as one of the items is awesome. Ask for less salt. There is so much great items to chose from. The crab hash is really yum too. I don't like the bell peppers at all and actually masks the flavor of the crab. Ask for without the bell peppers if possible. I love the croissants here. It's served warm, but let me warm you, it's so so so oily. It's enough butter and calories to last a long long time. Steak and eggs: the steak is pretty mediocre. I'd suggest NOT getting it and get something else. It seems to be so so quality and has lots of veins and is chewy.

Chez Nous is a French/continental cuisine, moderately priced restaurant with its own bakery, so the desserts (tarts, etc.) are topnotch as everything is made there. Busy at lunchtime for fresh pasta, quiche, fish, salads. At dinner it has a lovely ambiance due to the lighting & a reasonably priced menu; stick with the pastas or fish, although they do serve chicken, lamb & beef, the fish is always excellent. Be careful on the weekends, as they do have a jazz band & if you want a quiet romantic dinner, you will want to finish before the music starts. Parking is difficult...it's valet or walk for blocks. Great for a dinner date or a business lunch.
