We absolutely love Children's Dental Zone! Everyone on staff is so kind and patient with our children and every time it is a wonderful experience. We are grateful to the hygienists and Dr. King for taking time to explain exactly what they are going to do and answer any questions we might have. The office is always so positive and happy!

Friendly staff. Excellent dental care. Highly recommend to my friends. Love the new office; such a kid friendly environment. Respectful of parents. Great with toddlers during their first dental exam. All around fantastic!!!

My daughter actually looks forward to going to the dentist. So much thought was put into the design of this clinic to put children at ease. The staff, starting at the front desk and going all the way to checkout are fantastic. You can tell that they are there because they love kids. The dentists are awesome!

I have a high anxiety 9 year old & she LOVES this dentist. They have a giant slide, gaming center and "movie theater" in the waiting room- my kids just wish they had a longer wait so they could play more. The exam areas are bright, cheerful & spotless. There are tvs over each chair so the kids can continue watching the movie & aren't stressed about the exam. Everyone that works there is cheerful, positive and helpful. All in all, they are kind, fast & thorough!
I wish I could go to the dentist here. My kids actually look forward to their visits. The long term staff is very friendly and welcoming. All of the many tiny details they focus on make this an amazing, warm place to go.
This practice is great for both of my kids (11) and (13). The hygienists are very friendly and took extra time to demonstrate flossing. The building is a kids wonderland, all designed to keep them relaxed

Surgery policy: no parents in the room. (I really don't know what happened to my two-year-old son during his surgery.) Sedation stance: your child will have no memory of what happens, so his current terror and pain don't matter. (The staff laughed as they dragged him into the back room screaming and thrashing with terror.) My child loved going to the dentist until we went to Dr. King. After Dr. King, he became hysterical at the sight of a dental x-ray machine. Dr. King only completed half the surgery, so we went to another dentist for the second half. Her surgery policy: parents encouraged to stay with their child during surgery. (I held his hand during surgery, and I know exactly what happened.) Her stance on conscious sedation: children remember what happens subconsciously, so treat them with respect and gentleness at all times. (They took the time to calm my terrified son and explain what was happening to him at every step.) I will NEVER take my children to Dr. King again.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review about your child's dental experience 5 years ago. Our team takes pride in our work and always strives to exceed parents and patients expectations. Parents are always welcome back during routine cleaning and treatment appointments in our office.
When major dental treatment is needed on young children we offer Oral Conscious Sedation as an option to help complete necessary treatment. Oral Conscious Sedation is considered a dental surgery and for safety reasons only trained professionals are allowed in the room during the treatment. However, parents are more than welcome to come back and view their child during sedation to help comfort and put them at ease, for this reason we have all glass doors which also makes the children feel much safer than in an enclosed room.
Our utmost priority at Children's Dental Zone is making sure there are no surprises and we explain everything. We also give our parents a sedation packet telling them what to expect including our policies and have them sign off. We explain all treatment alternatives making sure parents understand their options and feel comfortable with the option they decide on.
Working with children is the most rewarding experience and we love what we do. We get to help kids work through their dental fear and anxiety and teach them how to take care of their oral health. We offer a fun environment where kids are excited to come and play, get prizes and watch movies all while getting their teeth taken care of. I am disappointed to hear that your child's appointment 5 years ago was not satisfactory. We would love the chance to speak with you at any time regarding your past experience.
