After Dr Doud left, we only stayed with the practice because we liked Dr Abel. However, after a couple of years of increasing difficulties (long waits for appointments; phone calls not returned; nurse practitioner with poor bedside manner who gave advice directly contradictory to that of another nurse), we are looking for another provider. We're sad because we do like Dr Abel.

Much has changed since the days of Dr. Doud. The office staff tries, but things get very backed up very quickly and sometimes you have to wait a day to be seen no matter how sick. Most of the time you see a nurse practitioner, then for some people's records have gone missing people have been misdiagnosed. Be prepared to go to the hospital for any labs. Do some research before you blindly assume that things are the same, and if you feel that something is wrong ask for a second opinion.
