    Try Them For Lunch

Cinnamon Productions is a hot spot in RSM for breakfast. The lines can be long, and the wonderful aromas of their fresh baked goods will have really whetted your appetite by the time you sit down to eat. But we like Cinnamon Productions for lunch or even dinner. The crowds are gone but all the wonderful aromas linger, and the gourmet sandwiches are absolutely terrific. They do unusual and marvelous things with their sandwiches. My favorite, the black forest ham panini, is full of swiss cheese and -- of all things -- caramelized pear. It really will blow you away. The sandwiches come with potato chips or pasta salad, but they will substitute an exceptional fresh fruit salad if you ask. The prices are a little on the high side (the ham panini for instance is about $7.25), and you can always wander back after lunch and buy a decadent chocolate fudge brownie for dessert...

    Fabulous Bakery!

For Rancho Santa Margarita location - This restaurant/bakery is notable for the quality of their cakes. The cakes are fairly expensive but worth it if you want to impress your party guests...I have had guests go nuts over these cakes. Their buttercream frosting is amazing, unlike any other bakery I've been to, and their cake decorating is nice. They will decorate a cake to your specifications, too. Only complaint is that it is sometimes difficult to get someone's attention in the bakery, and if you have questions about a cake when their baker isn't in (she works early), you are out of luck because the young staff isn't too knowledgable when it comes to their cakes. The restaurant is good for lunch - sandwiches, soups, etc. Nice little spot to have lunch at, or drop in for dessert and coffee.
